Just the same old souvenir shops and an overpriced boat trip. It is not worth it at all since everything is 3 times the price of Bangkok and people have nothing original to sell. Boring.

There a number of floating markets all throughout Thailand and the Tha Kha market is a nice one to visit. It has become more geared to tourists, with English signs in the vendors boats advertising what they are selling but it is still a worthwhile...More

This floating market was not big, but you got a flavor of a traditional floating market. We got to sample many of the fruit for sale. We took a boat ride through the canals around the market. The boat ride was peaceful, but the sun...More

There are many “floating markets” outside of Bangkok, but if you want authentic, then this is the one. The other markets sell lots of “junk,” but here it is all local goods. The food is some of the best that we had on our trip....More

This is a morning market. Shops open from 6am but the best time to visit is from 9am onward when the market is full of merchants. The market was not large. There were quite a variety of food to try.

This is a smaller floating market than the more central ones in Bangkok, which means there is less to see, but more freedom and comfort. I had an amazing tom yum noodle soup from a lady on a boat, and coconut ice cream served in...More

I prefer this small relaxing market to that of famous Damnoen Saduak. すぐ先はジャングル という感じもいい。

very small. Peaceful and quiet. Felt authentic, filled with mostly locals and just a few tourists. Took a lovely boat ride around the canals. Old women on boats make delicious Thai food, and everything is fresh and local. Try the dumplings! Of the four floating...More

Most people will go to Damnoen Saduak floating market as it is one of the biggest and probably the most crowded as well. If you just want to experience what it is like without the chaos of a big market in case you lose your...More
