Excellent response!
Mar 2020
We booked our tour with Nancy just before the pandemic outbreak and paid for it in full. All our communications were very responsive and professional. As soon as we realized we would be unable to travel we requested a refund. Nancy replied in less than a day and our credit card was refunded immediately.

We are very impressed with her response and highly recommend her.
We are looking forward to touring with her in the future.

Thank you so much Nancy we had a great time on your tour. Thank you for being patient with us filming the tour. We loved all the food, and the knowledge Nancy had of the markets, the food and the people that ran the stalls. There was lots of food, make sure you don't eat breakfast before you go. A perfect tour for your stay in Sete or if you are there for the day on a cruise.

"Awesome gourmet walking tour!!"
May 2019 • Family
This was a tour booked by a family member while we were visiting Sète. Nancy was absolutely brilliant. The history and culture of Sète were described in a very informative but fun way, with anecdotes and insight into local food which travellers generally miss out on. The trip into the local food market and the chance to taste various local delicacies including fresh oysters, marinated anchovies, mussels were absolutely great. This tour should be on a must do list if you are visiting Sète. Thank you Nancy, for the wonderful day.

More than your average food tour!

Wow!!! We used Nancy for a walking gourmet tour in Sete for our guests and it was even better then expected. There were 6 of us in total and 3 of us had previously enjoyed food tours and we all say this was the best. We had a great welcome making us feel instantly comfortable, the tour itself combined history with the most amazing market experience. It was not just the food but the stories behind the vendors. I will not give away her secrets, you need to book for yourself but our guests talked about it all week. We cannot wait to introduce our next guests to Nancy and her team. Thanks you so much.

Awesome Tour!
Nov 2018
I found this Sete Gourmet Walking Tour via Trip Advisor, knowing that I would be in Sete France in November on a Viking Cruise. I was originally very disappointed that the cruise modified their itinerary from St. Tropez to Sete, as I had never heard of Sete and was looking forward to visiting St. Tropez. Looking on Trip Advisor for things to do in Sete I found this Gourmet Walking Tour by Nancy McGee. The outstanding reviews led me to sign up for this tour, and it was the best decision. This was an absolutely wonderful tour. Nancy gives you the history and culture of Sete as you walk the lovely streets, and a visit to the market where we sampled local food from oysters to mussels to olives and more. The oysters were so outstanding I don't think I'll find anything comparable in taste anywhere! And, because Nancy has a great relationship with the merchants at the market we were welcomed visitors and treated like royalty. The pièce de résistance was the wine and cheese tasting at a local wine merchant. I would highly recommend this tour, and if I'm ever in Southern France again Sete is on my itinerary!

Gosh! I'm flattered and so is Sète! Thank you for this amazing review. Without the kind merchants and fine food items along with the quirky nature of Sète, my tour would not exist. I'm so pleased you enjoyed your culinary experience and hope to see you again in sunny Sète .

Sete and Street Food
Nov 2018
Nancy was entertaining and full of information about Sete's history and culture. Her English was 100% and she was easy to understand. The walking was relatively easy and the town is very interesting. The food was enjoyable but my wife would have preferred to have the pastry's at the end as a desert rather than the octopus pie that was an entree and left a lingering taste. Can't comment on the wine because we're not much into wines, but the others on our tour enjoyed them.

Gourmet Walking Tour of Sete
Outstanding tour and guide. We had a private tour. We walked, learned about Sete, learned about various foods, now know how to properly slice cheese, had the best Gelato! Definitely 5 stars and we highly recommend this tour!

Great way to spend a few hours in Sete
Jul 2018 • Family
My wife and I and two of our daughters received what amounted to a private tour from Nancy, our guide, a lovely French Canadian woman who has lived many years in Sete. Nancy introduced us to the people whose food we sampled. They were nice, and their food was mostly delicious. I say mostly because we struggled with the pig's head cheese, but we devoured everything else, including raw oysters, watermelon and cantaloupe, pastry, anchovies, olives, bread, cheese, win and ice cream. I might be leaving out something. By the end of the tour, we were stuffed. Nancy not only told us a lot about the food we ate and the vendors we met but also about Sete and its history. She was delightful and very helpful, telling us which bus we should board to make our way to the beach. I urge you to take her tour.

Walking Tour of Sète
Nancy was the perfect Host bringing us, 6 in total along to meet the various Artisans, trying all their wonderful local fare, explaining in detail what we were eating, from Roquefort Cheese to Mouthwatering Apricots and much more besides. I would recommend this tour to anyone with a few hours to spare. You won't be disappointed.
