Along the drive towards Skaftafell make further stops at Skógafoss waterfall and Vik, with its famous black-sand beach and basalt columns. From there head to your accommodation for the night. As well as a relaxed evening you also have the chance to hunt for the northern lights. During the winter months, out in the countryside with no light pollution, there's a good chance of spotting these colorful and fast-moving lights.
Please note: Accommodation will be arranged at Hótel Skaftafell from January 15th to March 15th 2017. From December 1st - January 15 accommodation will be at Hof 1 Hotel.
