Overview
Take in Rhode Island’s scenic shoreline on a 90-minute sightseeing cruise through Newport Harbor and Narragansett Bay. Aboard an open-air, fully restored lobster boat, enjoy a narrated tour as you pass Newport and Jamestown harbor fronts, and see landmarks like Fort Adams, gilded-age mansions and the famous Clingstone house. Your trip includes a complimentary Rhode Island-styled refreshment, as well as a cash bar.
What to Expect
Arrive early to the launch point at Bowen’s Wharf, where your memorable sightseeing cruise departs at set morning and afternoon hours. (Please see ‘Important Info’ tab for sail times.) Board the lovely MV Gansett and find a comfortable seat in the cabin or on the open deck for the 90-minute float through Newport Harbor and Narragansett Bay's East Passage. Relax and admire unobstructed views of the shoreline and attractions like Fort Adams, Hammersmith Farm, the Kennedy Compound and the fascinating Clingstone ‘House on the Rock’.

As for refreshment, morning cruisers are offered a complimentary mimosa, freshly-brewed coffee, tea, and juice. Afternoon guests partake in a complimentary offering of regional beverages like Del's Lemonade, Yacht Club soda and Coffee Cabinets. A cash bar is also available, serving local beers, wines and hard cider.

Your cruise ends back at the departure point with plenty of time to explore the bay front.

Fabulous tour and tour guide.

Patrick is the best. Casey is great too. Memorable trip. Funny and informative Will take it again. Didn’t see the breaker’s mansions, but loved everything we saw.

The crew (Johnny - Guide, "Jack" - Captain, Kristen - Everything else) were very friendly and made it a family experience. At the time of our ride, the script was geared towards folks that wouldn't be buying a yacht in their life-times, making jokes of...More
