    Awesome!
Jeff Moore, Journey Ambassador, a great tour guide, made everyone feel comfortable and respectfully entertained with jovial comments. Jeff, took the time to explain in detail everything about the sights, gave plenty of time to take photos and get a good meal. It was an awesome tour. I learned quite a bit about the history and happenings in Atlanta and of course loved the night lights. I recommend that everyone take this tour and request Jeff Moore as their tour guide.

Great Tour in ATL Business Trip
I was in town for a conference but came in a day early to sightsee, but unfortunately original tour was canceled due to inclement weather. Fortunately I was able to reschedule fairly easily. I’m so glad I was able to go because it was a great way to get a good tour of the city and see some of the highlights on a limited time schedule. Omar, the tour guide, was excellent and took us to see some really cool places that I wouldn’t have known about on my own while providing some great recommendations and information!

    Engrossing and entertaining, with Omar
Omar, the tour guide, is charming, informative and engaging. He took us to numerous sites over three hours. He provided thorough information and even quizzed us humorously. We saw so many interesting sites, various places where we could see the skyline, went to eat at a Market with many options, etc. I recommend the tour to any and all.

My family and I did the Black History Tour and I must say this experience was awesome! The tour guide was knowledgeable of the history and current events of Atlanta and kept everyone interested the entire tour. The tour in my opinion should be longer than 4 hours and I would pay to get more time, Atlanta has lots of history and the most beautiful African American murals. My 9 year old daughter said she’s ready to go back to Atlanta for another tour! Communication, pick up and drop off were all Five Star! Book a tour with Roundabout Atlanta Tours and you won’t be disappointed.

This trip is EXACTLY what I wanted. A really great tour of Atlanta that really focused on the historical parts of the city and its contribution to the civil rights movement. Yes, we saw things like the Mercedes Benz stadium and the Coca Cola tour, but more importantly, we visited the neighborhoods where the activism really began. Omar is a wealth of information on past and current important African Americans, and he happily shared that knowledge. The information in his brain is just incredible. He was able to impart history and tie important moments in the civil rights movement to where we were standing on a street and looking at a building. He's also super friendly and we enjoyed spending time with him and he was completely okay with the many questions we had. Also, my mom has trouble with her foot so has a hard time walking sometimes and Omar made sure we did the amount of walking for us. We also got a taste of a local eatery and some wonderful local food. I highly recommend this tour. It's so great that I'm going to study some of the things I learned and then plan on retaking the tour again at some point. Don't worry about the weather. It's a great vehicle and if the weather is bad, you can choose to get out or not do walk around. Free water and chips was a nice touch.

What a fantastic tour! If you do any tour in Atlanta, it should be this one! We were guided by our ambassador, Jeff, who showed us so many important civil rights landmarks. He had great knowledge of civil rights, both historically and currently here in Atlanta. He has such a wonderful energy and kept us all very engaged and entertained , so that the four hours went by quickly. We saw important houses where history was made, ( much around the incredible Martin Luther King, Jr.) we saw new developments and old neighborhoods, with Jeff giving us great insight into the history and changes of the neighborhoods. We saw really wonderful murals and monuments, some places where movie scenes were filmed, cool cafes and just generally lots of interesting things. We stopped at a neat area for refreshments, and he also gave us all a bottle of water and chips halfway through the tour. By the end of the tour, the whole bus group of strangers didn’t feel like strangers anymore, after having such an amazing experience. My teenage son and I highly recommend this tour! Thanks, Jeff!

This was the best tour ever. Our tour guide Omar was awesome. He has a wealth of knowledge about the black history of Atlanta. He took us to the West End, where all the black movers and shakers spent their time - Martin Luther King, Ralph Abernathy, Joseph Lowery. Omar also drove by Tyler Perry’s studios, other homes and businesses owned by blacks, and the murals we saw were all wonderful. He provided water and snacks. We went to a black owned restaurant. I had the spinach patty and it was delicious. Thanks Omar we really appreciated the tour.

I thank Omar the tour guide and his driver Ron who also has a wealth of knowledge for being a great 1-2 punch in the coordinated driving routes to how the history of Atlanta is delivered while driving. I left this tour feeling informed and curious about exploring new territory. I also observed that these two individuals have a true passion for their city and want everyone who visit to really see Black Hollywood, economic disparity, and leaders past and present.

🤓Omar knows. He is very knowable about the local history: people, buildings, events, everything you want to know, he knows. He has done lots of research and homework: lots of cool illustrations/photos to show you--all very educational.

😂Omar is funny. He made the four-hour trip fun and engaging.

👍Highly recommend it. Amazing way to learn about Atlanta and an important chapter of U.S. history that everyone ought to know.

This tour was top notch. Jeff, our tour guide, grew up in the area and is passionate about its stellar civil rights history. He took our small group of adults on a tour that was thorough, thoughtful, entertaining and intimate. We made numerous stops at important sites, places to eat, local small businesses, and we were treated to insights of both historic and contemporary, ever-changing Atlanta. Jeff was courteous, kind and patient and we would do it all over again. We highly recommend this tour and specifically Jeff!

This tour surpassed all our expectations. Our tour guide, Jeff, was among the most knowledgeable and fun tour guides we've had. He was able to engage every single one of the tour participants, which ranged in age from kids to older adults. Not only did he know of the official history of Black Atlanta and Civil Rights, but also of lesser known, informal aspects of African American life and culture in the city. Highly recommended!

This was an excellent tour. Jeff was fantastic- knowledgeable, warm, friendly and humorous. After spending 4 hours with him we felt that we understood so much more about the city's rich history. Jeff's knowledge is expansive and it was a real treat to hear him expound on historical and cultural landmarks. We learned not only about the obvious spots, like MLK's house, but also about the histories of various neighborhoods, the stories behind the many murals in the city, the city's place in the black movie and music industries and the important role it has played as a center of black education. It was a tremendous pleasure to spend 4 hours with him! Highly recommend!
