Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Zoo Atlanta, 800 Cherokee Ave SE, Atlanta, GA 30315-1470

Visit Zoo Atlanta, where you will see the largest populations of great apes in the United States. This is only one of four zoos in the country to house giant pandas. See more than 220 species and over 1,000 animals and naturalistic habitats. You can also explore the Zoo’s global conservation efforts. For an additional charge, enjoy rides and fun in-park attractions including the Treetop Trail, the Zoo Train, petting zoo, rock wall, Safari Slide, and the Endangered Species Carousel. There are a range of opportunities to entertain children, including interactive mystery hunts, grooving as your favorite animal, and storybook reading time. Visit the interactive Splash Fountain, KIDZone and Naked Mole Rat Playgrounds for plenty of space to splash around, play, climb, and explore.  There are an array of lunch options in the zoo, including vegetarian choices and toddler bites (additional cost). The day is not over without seeing a wildlife presentation and participating in a Keeper Talk. In wildlife presentations, see animals such as mammals, birds, reptiles, and more in action as their natural behaviors and amazing adaptations are highlighted. At Keeper Talks, enjoy an educational conversation with an animal expert about the African savanna or the Australian Outback.

The panda exhibit is worth admission. There so cute and goofy. And the gorillas are great. Oh they even have elephants. The parking is small and free fills up quick we parked in neighborhood across the street. Short walk.

Thank you so much for visiting Zoo Atlanta. We really appreciate you taking the time to give us a 5 rating and a review. The parking lots are overseen by the city of Atlanta. They closed the Boulevard lot to build a new parking deck. It should be open early next year. Our African Savanna, new home to the elephants, meerkats, zebras and giraffes is pretty awesome. Please do come back when you can.

Had a day to spend in Atlanta before flying home, and found the zoo to be an excellent choice. Not many other guests so we had lots of fun seeing all the animal's. The keepers were nice and were happy to talk and share additional information. Highly recommend.

First time visitor to this zoo and had a fun time. Not all the exhibits were open but plenty were and it was great to see the animals. Park was clean, staff was friendly. Definitely will go back.

This has to be the worst zoo I have ever visited, and I've been to over a dozen in North America & Europe. I saw more "Animal not currently in exhibit" signs than I did animals! No gorillas, no lions, no meerkats, no giraffes, elephants not out, etc, etc, etc. It was a

Thank you for your feedback, Karen. Our animals will not be out if it does not feel like 40 degrees minimum. We are a non profit organization and depend heavily on gate receipts, donations, and memberships to fund our mission of saving wildlife and their habitats through conservation, research, education and engaging experiences. Thank you again.

First thing I would like to say is how beautiful the grounds are! They really don't have a lot of animals. We tried to see the giraffes three times while we were there, the employees kept telling us to come back later. It was however a very nice place to take a walk!

Thank you so much for visiting Zoo Atlanta. We really appreciate your comments regarding the grounds. The giraffes are still acclimating to their new habitat and it is hit or miss with them right now. We do apologize, and hope you will return again when they are fully acclimated.
