Great tour to get a good overview of the city and neighborhoods. Capt Steve was a great guide and so knowledgeable about the city and insides and out. Learned so many things I didn't know or would never have learned.
This was a great first day activity and I recommend doing it both if you will only be here for a day or if you plan to stay longer as it will give you a great idea about areas of the city you want to explore further.
My only recommendation would have been to have better planned break and lunch stops.
Everyone including guide wore masks. Plenty of hand sanitizer and wipes available during trip.

My partner, his mom, and I went on the 4-Hour Seattle City Tour with Customized Tours over the weekend and had the pleasure of having Capt Steve as our tour guide. Overall, this tour was fantastic because you get to see a lot of Seattle and get to hit the typical tourist spots worth seeing. In addition, Capt Steve knew so much about the city and kept everyone entertained the whole way. It was wonderful! As others may have mentioned, though, while this says it is a 4-hour tour, it ended up being about 5.5-6 hours long. Capt Steve did ask the group in the beginning if we had places to be and since no one said anything, we trekked on throughout the city for the majority of the day. Overall, superb tour and we would highly recommend to anyone visiting Seattle.

Thanks to THE CAPTAIN our tour guide, this tour of Seattle was beyond belief. His knowledge and experience of all Seattle was beyond deep. In addition to seeing every nook and cranny and learning the history and culture of this great city, the Captain added music and even movie clips to complement what we were seeing. He plays the harmonica and we even sang along on a few tunes. What a terrific tour. Thanks Captain! We will never forget you. Very unusual experience.

Because Joel is so awesome, he agreed to schedule our tour at the last minute (late afternoon before) for my sister & brother-in-law from Florida, my mom from Colorado and myself from well...here. We had all been to Seattle 10 years ago when my husband and I got married. So much has changed since then, and Joel took us to places we never even thought of going. He gave us so much history and knowledge of areas of the city that you really don't get to see...wether you drive yourself or not...spots of such amazing views that I was enthralled with the city again. He kept us entertained with stories of the neighborhoods we toured through. Joel made sure to take pictures for us of all of us with some great shots in the background. He took us to great spots for pictures and videos ALL over town.
HIGHLY recommend this group! Even now when we are not fully open, he made sure to take us to places we could go into and get items during the tour. We stopped at Pike Place Market for lunch, and he made sure we knew what was open, what different types of food were available and where open restrooms were located.
It is a city steeped in history and we heard all kinds of stories about all the areas we went through.
The van is comfortable, Joel made sure we were comfortable during the entire trip and talked from the time he picked us up until he dropped us off.
Would highly recommend this tour.

Captain Steve gave a great tour. He was knowledgeable about the city and took us all over the city to the best spots. He accentuated the city's history with pictures and music. He made all the guests feel welcomed didn't rush us. We were able to grab a bite to eat and do some light souvrnir shopping during the tour. We had extra time in the city after a cruise before our flight home and we didn't regret spending it with Customized Tours.

Captain Steve was awesome, he went above and beyond after picking us up at our hotel. His knowledge of the city was outstanding and how he linked it to music was perfect. Steve played the harmonica, sang songs, and played music to match his theme, we couldn't ask for anything more. Steve also conducted walking tours full of knowledge. After asking everyone on the tour if they had anything scheduled for the afternoon, Steve extended the tour two more hours. But to top that off, Steve offered to take everybody wherever they wanted to be dropped off, from their hotel, Pikes Market, to even dropping a couple off at the airport. By far the Best Seattle city tour for an awesome price, thanks to Captain Steve.

This was a great tour of the city. Marc was our guide and he was a wealth of historical information and very knowledgeable about Seattle. He made the tour fun with trivia questions we tried to answer. There were many opportunities for pictures. We saw wildlife and so many sites, I'd recommend you booking this tour and definitely ask for Marc. He was helpful, personable, wore a mask, practiced social distancing and kept us laughing.

We had a wonderful, comprehensive, fun tour with Capt Steve. His knowledge of the city is immeasurable, as is his patience and humor. He allowed for plenty of timely bathroom and food breaks. It was great to be on a small bus with a small group (nine of us.)
Steve told many stories and incorporated music in his recitations throughout the day. We felt fortunate to leave the bus at the end of our tour knowing that we had a good knowledge of the city. Our day couldn't have been any better and we highly recommend the company and Steve.

Hands down, one of the very best tour experiences I have had. Captain Steve is one of those few people in life that has a "calling." He is a natural tour guide. He cares so much about Seattle that he HAS to share it. He has so much knowledge about Seattle, he HAS to share it. He has so much enthusiasm over Seattle that you cannot help but be positively influenced to also fall in love with Seattle after having such a great tour. Leave time in your scheduling for it to run late...it is only for your benefit! Captain Steve weaves the history of Seattle, its neighborhoods, its people, and its music, all while driving through what seems, the entire city. GREAT tour - book it now!

Our timing wasn’t great but we made the best of our time in Seattle during a very foggy and smoky few days. We had no previously scheduled plans so at 7am on Saturday I called this tour company to see if they had anything available that day. Thanks to LaToya, two and a half hours later we met our city tour guide Captain Steve. There were only five of us on the tour due to the virus, and yet Steve pulled out all the stops to ensure we experienced as much as possible. He really knows a great deal of the history of Seattle, and his stories and music made our tour very worthwhile. Some typical stops were closed but Steve found alternative places to visit. Our tour actually lasted five hours—we totally got our money’s worth!! Thanks to LaToya and Captain Steve for making our first day in Seattle a great success!!

I don't know. I use public transportation in downtown Seattle. You should too. We contacted the tour company and agreed upon a place to meet near the Pioneer Square light-rail station.
