Highlights
  • Explore New Orleans’ sights and history on a small-group bike tour
  • Venture beyond the French Quarter to less touristy parts of the city
  • Leisurely pace and flat route is suitable for most riders
  • Cover more ground than a walking tour with the flexibility to stop often
What to Expect
Pick up your bike and meet your guide in the French Quarter, and begin with a ride through this famously funky neighborhood, plus the historic districts of Faubourg Marigny and Faubourg Tremé. Then go beyond the touristy boundaries to explore more of the city, following leafy Esplanade Avenue to the green expanse of City Park, passing St. Louis Cemetery No. 3.
Pay tribute to the city’s jazz heritage in Louis Armstrong Park and Congo Square, and pedal to the shores of Bayou St. John, a critical waterway used by Native Americans, early settlers, voodoo practitioners, and even pirates. Expect to cover a total distance of about 10 miles (16 kilometers) at a leisurely pace before finishing the tour back in the French Quarter.

Jonathan was a great ride leader. He's practically a walking (or maybe riding) history book. The ride is very casual, a nice slow pace and flat enough that pretty much anyone can handle. We stopped at many points of interest along the way and heard...More

My boyfriend and I went on this bike tour during Jazz Fest, which presented some challenges for the business. Jazz Fest traffic is, of course, a factor which influences transportation in New Orleans. We began at the shop with a brief description of this history...More

Hey Victoria H: Thanks for taking the time to give this very thorough review. We’re glad you had a good time regardless of the traffic on the route as it pertained to Jazz Fest. Please note that we always go to St. Louis Cemetery #3...More

Most tours will undoubtedly be cancelled if it is raining, but if it is just drizzly they might go. You need to ask the owners.
