Go beyond the French Quarter on this sightseeing bus tour of New Orleans. Learn about the city’s long history and hear tales of voodoo, piracy, and wartime heroism as you drive past Creole landmarks, Jackson Square, Garden District mansions, crumbling cemeteries, and the shores of Bayou St. John. This guided bus tour is a stress-free way to see parts of the Big Easy that many visitors miss.

What to Expect

Board a comfortable air-conditioned coach at a convenient meeting point in the French Quarter, the historic heart of New Orleans. See famous landmarks such as Jackson Square, the Cabildo and Presbytere museums, and the Pontalba buildings while learning about the city’s French, Spanish, Creole, and American heritage.

Venture outside of the French Quarter to the banks of Bayou St. John, once the site of voodoo rituals and a notorious pirate waterway used by Jean Lafitte. Visit one of New Orleans’ so-called “cities of the dead,” St. Louis Cemetery No. 3, to see unusual above-ground burial practices. Follow the route of the historic St. Charles streetcar to the leafy avenues and southern-style mansions of the Garden District, and then cruise past the campuses of Tulane and Loyola universities that border the Audubon Zoo before returning to the French Quarter.

All singing, no dansing

A lot of boring suburban neighbor hoods, a rest stop where you purchased your own water and too much chatter about crap you would never care about elsewhere. WAY over priced. You have been warned.!

Tour Guide was the highlight but details lacking.

We loved Bob our tour guide and he told all of the tales and history he was supposed to tell. We just felt that when we have been on other into tours or history tours in other cities, that there was a lot more information...More

Super city tour

Great tour, drove by most of the major sites. Minimal walking (Good for those with walking problems). Gerald was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable and a really nice guy. Highly recommend.
