What to Expect
This Garden District tour starts with a pickup by coach from a convenient location in the French Quarter.
Once you arrive in the Garden District, a neighborhood known for having some of the most splendid, preserved antebellum mansions in the South, follow your guide on foot through the neighborhood.
Learn about the antebellum mansions and their owners—past and present, from Jefferson Davis to Anne Rice. Look out for a house that’s owned by actress Sandra Bullock.
This guided tour also leads you inside the elegant Civil War-era Opera Guild Home, so you can explore the interior. It’s one of the only tours in the area that lets you step inside.
Afterward, journey through the above-ground tombs at Lafayette Cemetery before stopping at Magazine Po-Boy Shop for food or a drink (own expense).
The trip ends with drop-off in the French Quarter.

No you do not have to ride the bus back to the French Quater. Just tell your guide you want to stay behind so they can account for everyone.
