Get beyond Fairbanks to see remote Alaskan landscape
Round-trip transportation in a climate-controlled van for a comfortable trip
Snacks, drinks and the stew is offered for free.
What to expect
Meet a guide at your Fairbanks hotel and then board a climate-controlled van for the 200-mile (322-kilometer) trip across the Arctic Circle. You’ll be traveling the Dalton Highway, first built as a supply road for the Trans-Alaska Pipeline, and you’ll sometimes see the massive pipeline system along the way. Snacks and drinks are provided on the road, and there’s lots to spot from the vehicle, including native wildlife and gorgeous scenery. When you reach the Arctic Circle, stretch your legs, snap some photos, and enjoy an Arctic picnic of beef stew and a sandwich (vegetarian option also available). Here, spend some time learning about indigenous Alaskan cultures, before returning to Fairbanks with an official Arctic Circle certificate.

She’s going to kill me but Christina or Christine I can’t remember exactly was really great. I went on Monday I believe. She was Very personable and fun. She made it a very easy ride. Even though it’s 8 hrs of riding in a van it was worth it. The food was fantastic that veggie soup was amazing. The pick up and drop off was very easy and fluid. I’d highly recommend this company. They seem to care a lot about your satisfaction and comfort. I never felt like just a number to them.

Great Chance to Go to the Arctic Circle
Sep 2021
Enjoyed checking The Arctic Circle off the bucket list with the day trip. Nate was a great guide and was eager to insure each person had memorable time. Before the tour, Sylvia reached out to make sure we were clear on pick up arrangements. Frequent breaks to allow the opportunity to stretch were appreciated. A very good lunch was served as well. Overall, an excellent experience and I highly recommend Nate as a guide as well as this company.

Amazing nature!!!
Our tour guide was Cristina she is excellent in all things Alaska. We made our first stop at the Hilltop gas station where I fell in love with pies (Coconut cream pie and a chocolate (fat man) pie) She gave us a hefty snack bag with a sandwich and later at the Arctic circle we had a simple picnic with hot drinks and a yummy beef stew. The views along Dalton highway were breath taking ! Beautiful fall colors of nature !!! We made stops along the way notably the Finger Mountain trail for pictures and short hikes to savor the experience . Thank you for making this trip possible!

South Floridian visits The Arctic Circle-WOW!
Aug 2021
Arctic Circle Trip was Amazing! Being from South Florida and have traveled extensively-from Europe to Russia and Australia to South America, I'd never been to the U.S. Northwest let alone Alaska and what a surprise! The vastness is mind boggling.
Our guide Dave was nothing short of a walking knowledge base about the entire state, historically , environmentally, let alone our trip via the Dalton Highway to the Arctic Circle
One of those Alaska must do items. Will be back for the aurora.

Arctic Circle tour in August
Jake was very engaging and really has the passion for the Dalton highway and his experience as an ice trucker.. It was a bit chilly for mid August, so the stew at the Arctic Circle was a great way to warm up!

Great trip to the Arctic Circle
We did the day trip to the Arctic Circle yesterday. It’s a long drive on the Dalton Highway-a bit bumpy. Our driver/guide Dave was great, talking about the area and Alaska life along the way. Something you should do if you are in the area! It included sandwiches and delicious homemade stew.
