Fun and interesting way to quickly get an overview of the many sights in downtown Philadelphia
We took the Hop On Hop Off bus in Philadelphia on Thursday 7/19. The temperature was 93 degrees with 99 degree heat index. Our tour guide (Giovanny) was entertaining and informative. The 10 am tour lasted about an hour and was time (and money) well spent.

This tour gives one the lay of the land. It allows you to ascertain where/what you actually want to visit and the means to get there. Would advise to obtain a two day pass. Recommended for anyone not familiar with Philly.

This was a great way to see the city. We didn't have to deal with driving or parking. I would recommend this for every one visiting Philadelphia.

Don’t waste your money
Purchased 4 tickets for this tour and was told we could hop on at any location and that the next bus would be there in 12 minutes. Waited for 30 minutes and no bus in sight. Called the information line to verify we were in the correct location and was told it would be an additional 15 minutes. Waited another 30 minutes and the bus never came. Now I’ve contacted this company 3 times to receive a refund and haven’t received a response at all.

I normally don’t complain or ever leave poor reviews but after paying $100+ for a service I never received AND no response, I definitely don’t recommend this company.

The tour itself was fine. The issue for us was in the actual customer service. We purchased tickets for an 11 am tour start time. We arrived shortly before 11 and were told the bus was full. I inquired about why this happened if we had a reservation and the gentleman at the podium said he did not know and didn’t why they over book the times. We were told we had to wait for the 11:30 tour. We then walked down to the other bus company on the street. We found these two company’’s worked together and that there were only 17 people on the bus we were told was full for 11 am.

We not only rushed to make our 11 am tour but we also lost 30 minutes of the tour time that we planned on. This was very disappointing.

This particular day, there was construction on Chestnut Street which interfered with our route and schedule. we have been screwed

first we could not get off at the stop we wanted . but the worst is when we tried to get back on again. after waitng an half hour the bus that showed off was full so we could not get on. it is awfull that they do not have enough bus going around to match the number of tickets they sell very bad service . but the staff was good

Great way to see Philadelphia

Great way to see the many sights of downtown Philadelphia. No worries of taking a cab, uber or extensive walking. My wife and I purchased the 3 day pass. It allows us to see the museums and attractions we are interested in. Very well worth the price. Our tour guide Jay was wonderful. He was entertaining and provided ,lots of historical facts.

Great Way to Start Your Philly Adventure
This is a fabulous way to get a great overview of all things Philadelphia. Our guide was terrific; very knowledgeable and very funny as well. Highly recommend this tour as a starting point for your Philly adventure.

It's pretty cool, the people explains very well about the history of the places, the only thing that I could complain about is that they said every bus passes every 30 minutes , and it's way more than that, like almost if mot 1 hr.
But the trip was very good though

Great tour of Philly, now to go visit by ourselves the things we saw on the bus tour.
It was a great, clean and enjoyable trip sight-seeing Philly! The driver and tour guide were great, the system they have set up is very convenient and user friendly! I just wish the tour guide would stay out of the political discussion when speaking about our rich history here in America.
But overall it was done very well and professional.
