Greenwich Village Food Tour

Select Date and Travelers
2 travelers
Greenwich Village is one of the oldest and most storied areas of Manhattan. What better way to spend your afternoon walking and learning about its rich history than doing so while enjoying some of the best food the Big Apple has to offer? You will experience tranquil parks, cobblestone roads and world-renowned food shops in a small group setting of 8 people or less.
  • Try a variety of classic New York foods at authentic Greenwich Village spots
  • A guide points out famous NYC landmarks you might not recognize otherwise
  • Get recommendations for hidden culinary gems loved by New Yorkers
  • Small group size ensures a tailored, intimate experience
What to Expect
Meet your guide at Jackson Square Park in the heart of Greenwich Village. Groups are capped at eight people to ensure a more personal, tailored experience. From there, embark on walking tour of one of New York’s oldest and most charming neighborhoods. Pass by historic locations and celebrity hangouts, many of which are unmarked and would be easy to miss without your guide. As you walk through the cobblestone streets, stop at up to six authentic New York eateries for a taste of the city’s signature foods. Eat a slice of New York pizza, try a bagel, and sample a variety of desserts. Throughout the tour, a guide recommends bars, restaurants, and cafes loved and frequented by locals, saving you hours of research. After the tour ends, stroll over to Washington Square Park to rest your legs.

My wife and I took our 2 year old "adorable/crying/yelling" little girl. I was expecting a really rough time as Isabella can be so difficult. My fears were alleviated with Annabel's tremendous patience and impressive knowledge of the city and the Greenwich Village area that...More

This was our third eating tour of a major city and the only one we haven’t loved. Our guide didn’t seem to know very much about the area, its history or the food scene. There was no connection during the tour to the history of...More

Beautiful walk along an old train track. Guide had plenty of information on the area. The best part was hitting the village and eating at places where the locals love to eat. The food was amazing and some of the places i would never have...More

We did the combined Greenwich village food tour and historic tour. It took about 4 hours. Billy was our tour guide. He was fun and had a relaxed demeanor. Since it was just my wife and I, we got to ask plenty of questions and...More
