The bike rental included helmets and were in good condition. Easy to ride.
Our guide Sergio was excellent! He brought us through the entire park at a comfortable pace and even included some birding in the wooded forest area. He was knowledgeable about the history of the park and provided a wonderful experience!

My sister and I biked the Park with Sergio. He was very knowledgeable and entertaining company. We had a great time riding with Sergio and hearing good stories and interesting facts around the park. He was bike safety conscientious, and we had no problems with the rental bikes.

Great tour. It was easy to book, good location for the shop, only 6 people in our group. Sergio, our guide was kind and knowledgable. He made the tour fun and interesting. We went as a family of 4, 2 teenage sons, and we all enjoyed it. Bikes were in good shape, easy ride around the park.

I downgrade this tour from 4 to 3 stars because of their sketchy marketing. They offered a discounted tour to $25 USD (from 45) on their website. I went to all the trouble of booking to find that at the end they added both "service" and "handling fees" that brought it up to around $40. This is simply dishonest advertising, and what service or handling fees would a bike tour have claim to that wouldn't be part of their price structure?
The tour itself was pleasant with a a local New Yorker who knew a lot and took his time on the tour. He was funny and interesting.
Even for $40 it was a reasonable trip (though the tip was a fair bit more). I just hate the bait and switch up front.

Disappointing tour! Our guide Phil was a very nice guy. We cycled to a few places of interest, he told a few facts and left us to walk around 15+mins by ourself . We only stopped at half the advertised stop on their brochure. The bikes were good quality . Overall disappointing tour !

We had an awesome tour with Sergio. He took us around the ENTIRE park! He knew so much about the history of the park and surrounding neighborhoods. We also learned about the horticulture and animals and birds in the park. The tour was a delight!

I’ve visited Central Park dozens of times over the years but I’m so glad we decided to do this tour. We learned so much about the history and visited beautiful areas we never knew existed. Our tour guide was fun and super knowledgeable. Highly recommend!!

I booked this bike tour for my family with a coupon. So with the significant discount, I felt less upset than I would have been if I had paid full price.
Problems? Let's start with the website which stated "Reservations must be made in Advance". I called ahead of time and was told by the person who answered that reservations are actually not needed and to just show up in time. I arrive, show my coupon, and the clerk behind the counter immediately asks if I made a reservation! I tell her what I was told and she turns around and asks another employee who also says I need a reservation! I was getting a little upset but to their credit, they redeemed the coupon.
I've been on a lot of city tours in many different cities and I expect the guide to be extremely knowledgeable, filling in details about the history or the culture you would not be able to get easily on your own. Unfortunately, our guide was none of that. We rode at slow speeds for about fifteen minutes at a time, got off, and then he would give a one minute introduction of the site which basically consisted of the name of the location and when it was built. Nothing that you could not easily find out on your own. For that reason, you might as well just ditch the guide and ride around by yourself.
The only reason I am giving this two stars is the price and the quality of the bikes. With the coupon, it really wasn't much more than renting the bikes alone and the though the bikes weren't new, they were very well maintained which made riding them a pleasure.

We were warned as we got our bikes that central Park was going to be busy as there was a big Aids awareness walk on..OK not ideal, but being a company supposedly expert in the park it would not be an issue, as they would well aware of the big event and work the tour round the walk. So..our tour. We saw Christopher Columbus statue and Denzil Washington apartment. We where then told to leave park by the wardens as it wzs closed to bikes.. we cycled up the westside sidewalk to try and get up to North of park-after being told not to cycle on sidewalk by cop half group lost tour guide...found him 20 mins later in Park..ride abandoned decision made. Lost guide again to sidewalk& had to find way back to centre via iPhone. No refunds. And worse than that they still were selling park tours to unsuspecting tourists.
Appalling. I have to hope I can get refund from Amex for services not delivered. 1/149 sites seen and 0.5 miles cycled. 0.4 of those on the road getting to park.

We were booked on a bike tour around Central Park, we couldn't go through the park because of the aids walk. This company took our money, the guide took us around the perimeter of the park on the main road which was really dangerous & then on the side walk where pedestrians were shouting & swearing at us. On our return (half an hour earlier than we should have returned) the manager refused us a refund saying that we should have known about the walk! Please do not use this company!!
