What to Expect
Meet your guide bright and early in Battery Park. At the pier, enjoy priority access to the Liberty Island ferry. As you sail across the Hudson, enjoy views of the Manhattan skyline. Arrive at Liberty Island, where you learn about Lady Liberty’s construction and climb the pedestal for views of Manhattan. After a guided tour of Ellis Island, enjoy a few hours to explore on your own. While most tours are nonstop, you are able to relax and recharge on your own for lunch (own expense). Then, meet up with your guide and begin a walking tour of Lower Manhattan with a stop in front of the 9/11 Memorial. Say goodbye to your guide on arrival at One World Observatory, where your reserved ticket allows you to skip the often long lines for entry. Spend as much time as you like taking in 360-degree views of the city from the 102nd floor.

  • Visitors are required to pass through airport-style security to enter both the Statue of Liberty and One World Observatory
  • Please be aware that upon arrival at Liberty Island, if you are carrying a backpack or large bags you are required to put your bag/s into a locker which costs $0.25 only. Clients MUST have a quarter and cannot use a dime and a nickle for example.; there are NO lockers available at One World Observatory
  • Note: When you return to Battery Park on the ferry, you must make your own way to the meeting location for the afternoon portion of the tour
  • Please be aware that access to the Statue of Liberty pedestal requires a 215-step climb, with no elevator
  • Please note this tour does not include a visit to the Statue of Liberty's Crown, due to security measures in place by the National Park Service who manages the Statue of Liberty
  • It is important to be on time for this tour due to ferry schedules. The ferry does not operate during heavy rain or other adverse weather conditions; when this occurs, an alternative option is provided.
  • Not wheelchair accessible

  • Please note, only water in a clear container/bottle is allowed through security and on Liberty Island. No other beverages and containers/bottles are allowed.
  • Group size will be 20 people per guide
