We had the great pleasure of attending the luncheon cruise over Thanksgiving Day with City Experiences. Our vessel was Spirit of NY. We particularly enjoyed the possibilities of seeing the NY skyline both during daylight and by night time. The start time of the cruise, which lasts about 3 hours, was 2.30pm. We are a family of 4; kids ages 13 and 9. We felt that the luncheon cruise is more fitting for families with younger kids and to leave dinner cruises for adults. The cruise included a buffet lunch. Tables were spread out according to Covid guidelines and all passengers were asked to wear masks upon boarding plus show a photo ID and Covid vaccination proof for passengers 12 and above. I believe this is all according to NY state guidelines. The check in process and boarding were very smooth and took less than 15min. Spirit of NY has three levels; two levels are where lunch/dinner guests eat while the rooftop level is more causal seating with high top tables, couches and spread out seating areas. There were a couple of board games available to play - Jenga and shuffleboard! Professional Photographers are available to take your group or family photo. It’s a nominal cost well worth it as a memory of your day. The photographers can take your picture table side or outside. We elected outside with the NY skyline in the background. Spirit of NY had a bar where you could order both alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. Be sure to try some of the delicious cocktails. To include our under-aged kiddos in the festivities we ordered Shirley Temples. Highly recommend taking City Experiences Hornblower Cruises for a very nice way of seeing NY from the water!

Trip was excellent, with great food and incredible views of the Statue of Liberty. Don’t worry if you can’t book a window seat table (recommended), you can go outside and view everything from the top deck. There was even dancing and music. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that a few windows were dirty enough to sure some views. I would give 4.8 stars if available.

Great fun
Great fun, value and the buffet was delicious. Cocktails were awesome. The views from the deck
are brilliant and the staff could not do enough to make this trip amazing.

A gun cruise, reasonably priced w a good buffet and some dancing too. But the highlights are the SOL, Brooklyn Bridge, WTC and downtown skyline. Go for it

Had an excellent experience But be warned cash bar only

The only silly negative is that it’s a cash bar and you don’t know until it’s time to pay. While I waited 10 minutes on a line and heard the bartender say cash only and women left without her drinks. I started scrambling looking for cash because I wanted 2 drinks and 2 beers. I literally spent all the money I had. Can I tell you the bloody marys were
amazing. Anyway Common man! At least advertise this fact. Other than that unpleasant surprise the cruise was wonderful. The cruise guide was everything positive funny and knowledgeable. It was a beautiful day and a 3 hour event as advertised. Well worth the money

River cruise and meal were excellent. Good sized ship. Excellent buffet...with good selections, even for a vegetarian. Windows clean, upstairs viewing area well done. Would go again.

The cruise was great. The waiters were very attentive and the food was good for a buffet. However, some of the items ran out and several people went twice before the entire ship was served. I would definitely recommend this tour
