    What to Expect
This guided tour of the Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum ushers visitors through virtual exhibits, authentically restored tea ships, and traditional Boston museum exhibits. The tour provides the opportunity to participate in, explore, and learn about the people, events, and consequences that led up to the American Revolution—all in the order in which they occurred back in 1773. Get a sense of what life was like in 18th-century Boston.

This floating museum features actors in period dress, interactive exhibits, authentically restored tea ships and a gripping, multi-sensory documentary entitled “Let it Begin Here.” Meet the colonists, explore the ships and even dump tea overboard just as the Sons of Liberty did.

At the Meeting House, hear the story of the night of December 16, 1773, and get ready to dump tea alongside the patriots. There are two authentically restored tea ships—the Eleanor and the Beaver.

Inside the museum is a high-definition, 3D holographic at Griffin’s Wharf that makes visitors feel like they are on a Boston street in 1773. See the Robinson Half Chest, one of only two of the original tea chests that was dumped into the Boston Harbor that night.

We had a great time. Be sure to leave time to relax at Abigails Tea room after the tour. We played games and drank tea for a full hour for the cost of one cup of tea- $3.99. The tour guides were awesome!

The single most important event leading to the American revolution. Although I'm not drinking tea, I like the story and the courage from the people from that era. I spent always more time in this kind of places as the average visitors. I read everything and listen to all the

Seems a little pricey for length of tour but good time overall; enjoyed the interactive nature with the actors (easy for parents to embarrass teens by playing along) and significant historically, especially meaningful if kids studying early US history in school.

Great play by the hosts as they take you back in time to experience the Great American Revolution. You get to play a part and even get to dump the tea into the bay! What a great setup & tour to learn & experience the American revolution.

This was perfect. We have an 11 year old. It was perfect engagement and education. Nice size groups too. VERY VERY surprised that we enjoyed the tea room afterwards. Great view and comfortable (with that eras' table games) Food was good and not over priced.
