      Highly Recommend this Tour!
Natasha is a wonderful photographer and tour guide. Her knowledge of Asheville is amazing and she designs the tour around your interests. We wanted a few family photos along the way, but we mostly wanted to learn about Asheville and take photos ourselves of the sites. We spent about 3 hours walking around different parts of Asheville as Natasha pointed out the highlights and explained the history. The time just flew by and our tour ended at one of the breweries she recommended. We received our family photos a few days later and we absolutely love them!

      "Fall" in love with Asheville!
My ideal vacation features time outdoors experiencing local nature and culture. This tour was a great way to kick-off my stay in Asheville! I'm a morning and outdoor person, so the early start was just right for me! Natasha is an excellent guide and genuinely great person! Unlike most guides, she didn't cancel because I was the only participant. She stayed in communication with me and showed up on time - and with provisions! She had hiking sticks, breakfast muffin and fruit, water, and even gloves and extra coat on case I needed it. The hike up Catawba Falls was invigorating and highlighted by having breakfast at the foot of the waterfall. Natasha taught me about the history of the Pisgah National Forest and how important it is to preserve nature's beauty! To top it all off, she is a great photographer and took excellent shots that I will use in my holiday album! Definitely a great experience for anyone who wants an up close view of the beauty of Asheville!

      Beautiful and invigorating hike
This is a must experience for hiking and waterfall enthusiasts. Natasha was a great guide, good knowledgeable conversationalist and enthusiastic guide. We kept a steady pace hiking but she was accommodating when ever I saw a photo opportunity. She was well prepared with provisions for our lunch/snack break at the falls before our return to the vehicle. Prompt pickup and courteous throughout and a fun companion.

      Fantastic-don’t miss it!!
Very personal tour, Natasha seemed more like a friend than ‘tour guide’. Super sweet and funny, great communication before and during our time together, extremely memorable experience!

A Hike That Will Always Be Remembered
Our hike with Natasha (Brass Monkey Photography) was fresh, peaceful, rejuvenating, and down right perfect. She went above and beyond to make sure we would be comfortable (provided hiking sticks), hydrated (provided the water), and energized (provided fruit, yogurt, and blueberry muffins). We had delightful conversations and good laughs. When we come back to this area again; we will book Brass Monkey Photography again 100% and see what Natasha’s next hike adventure would be. We didn’t just gain an Adventure Guide; we gained a friend.

I would like to say that this tour was a great opportunity to hike and see some of the most beautiful waterfalls that I’ve ever seen in North Carolina. Natasha our guide was the absolute best, she was knowledgeable and did not rush us. She even had a wonderful picnic planned for us. I would definitely recommend this tour to families, couples, and older adults.

      Couldn't have been better!
This was by far the highlight of my Asheville trip! Natasha first started off by recommending the tour time be moved to account for bad weather.... which was fantastic. I was afraid it would be canceled. The rest of the day was fantastic! Seeing both waterfalls and the parkway and also a spot for a sunset! When I go back, I will definitely schedule a different tour. The pictures that I was able to take with Natasha's guidance speak for themselves!

      Delightful Waterfall mania tour
The Waterfall mania tour we did was truely breathtaking. Natasha is an excellent tour guide. She makes sure all her guests are happy and comfortable. We visited several waterfalls like the High Falls, Looking Glass Falls, Hooker Falls, Triple Falls. We were provided with a variety of snacks in a pretty picnic area. We also had a stopover along the scenic Blue Ridge mountains parkway.

      An Amazing Day!
Natasha with Brass Monkey photography is amazing. My friend and I visited Asheville for the first time this past week. I had booked the Waterfall Mania tour in advanced and appreciated Natasha’s flexibility with adjusting the tour based on the weather. She went above and beyond to make this the most memorable experience ever...from hiking, viewing the changing colors of the leaves, photographing waterfalls and experiencing a beautiful sunset at the top of Black Balsam Knob. I highly recommend using Brass Monkey Photography. Thank you Natasha!

      Awesome Experience!
Natasha was extremely nice and made us feel comfortable the whole trip. She held great conversation and checked on us frequently during the hike. She so offered a nice breakfast as well. The scenery was beautiful, when we return to Asheville we will be hiking with her again.

Fantastic Start to a Fantastic Day
Natasha did an outstanding job on our hiking tour. My wife and I had never visited the Appalachians before, and she gave us a great first glimpse to their beauty. We departed from our hotel promptly, with refreshments provided. The morning was beautiful, with the early dawn dew and fog burning off of the farm grass in the shade as we drove through the Pisgah National Forest; it was truly great. As we walked up the trail there was scarcely another person because we got there so early, breathing fresh mountain air. Upon reaching the falls, we practically had the entire place to ourselves and were able to look on them for twenty minutes uninterrupted by anyone else. Take this tour, it is the perfect way to start your day. Additionally, Natasha is an incredibly well travelled person, so she is great to get tips on where to go next.

      Fun and relaxing hike.
My wife and I had only been in Ashville a short time when we took this morning hike. It was a great introduction into the area and some of it's history thanks to Natasha. The hike to the Catawba Falls was very manageable and relaxing. Natasha made the entire experience so care free due to her attention to detail. We had a great time and would recommend it to anyone.

      Amazing Hike!
I had a wonderful time on this hike with Natasha. She was an amazing guide, very friendly, a wealth of knowledge about the area and went above and beyond to make the experience fun and comfortable (providing hiking sticks, cold waters and a delicious breakfast!) The Catawba falls were beautiful and I was glad to have gone first thing in the morning before the trail became busy. An absolute must do while in Asheville!

Natasha knows her city, history, and architecture. She is easy-going and friendly. We had only 3 in our group, so we got to know each other in our two hours together. I had already walked around Asheville a few days prior to the tour, but this tour highlighted so many things I missed on my own. After the tour, I went to Riverside Cemetery to pay respects to Tom Wolfe and to O. Henry, at Natasha's suggestion. Thank you!

Natasha has a wealth of knowledge and we learnt so much about this sweet, kind city in 2.5 hours - moved at a leisurely pace but covered so much because she made it so very interesting - would highly recommend. Thank you Natasha.

Natasha was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide who has thoroughly researched the founding families and historical figures of Asheville. Her genuine interest of history, and of preserving Asheville’s unique culture, made the tour among the best we’ve had in a local city. She was very considerate of attendee needs, and generous with her time and giving recommendations for other local activities. She was professional and quick to confirm tour availability, which was appreciated since we booked tour the night before. Would highly recommend.

My husband John and I had a really interesting tour with Natasha whose knowledge of the history and architecture of Asheville was impressive. She combined this with interesting stories of many of the city's people and brought it all to life with fun and energy on what was a very cold day. We then drove to the Riverside cemetery and this allowed us to see the graves of many of the families she had talked about previously, once again with well researched and detailed stories of the families and their lives. We often do history tours when we travel and this was one of the best. Thanks Natasha. Ruth and John.

My wife and I made our first trip to Asheville and decided to take the city tour to learn about the city. Natasha, our tour guide, was a wealth of information and patiently answered all of our questions.

We had a great time on the walking tour learning about the city's history, architecture, and great places to eat. It was clear that Natasha had really put her time in studying all about Asheville's history, I would highly encourage anyone that's new to Asheville to take this tour.

    Thanks Natasha!!

Natasha gave us a private tour of downtown Asheville. She breathed life into the history, architecture, Thomas Wolf, O Henry, the breweries, restaurants and basilica. Our favorite is the BookStore for adult beverages and snacks. An outstanding tour to begin our Asheville adventure. We loved it. So will you!
