    What to Expect
Meet your guide in central Moab and depart on tour half-day canyoneering adventure in the heart of the Colorado Plateau. A short hike across petrified sand dunes takes you to the first of two rappels. Your guide will equip you with a helmet and other safety gear and demonstrate rappel techniques; no experience is necessary and most ages and skill levels can be accommodated.

You'll make a 90-foot (27-meter) drop into a water-carved, sandstone chamber that leads through a small slot. It's another short walk to a second free-hanging rappel of 120 feet (37 meters), which affords an up-close view of the 243-foot-long (74-meter) Morning Glory Arch, which stands a short distance from your rappel station.

Then it's downhill to a spring-fed stream on the Colorado River. You'll learn a bit about the area's plants, geology, wildlife, and history before returning back to the starting point.

Hoped the trip guide would give us some information on the geology, floral and fauna of the area on the ride. However, that didn't happen. It was more of a thrill ride than educational. We would have chosen a different trip if we'd known that.

We booked this tour as part of our honeymoon trip visiting various National Parks in the area and were looking for something adventurous to add to our itinerary so we decided on a morning of Canyoneering. It was the best decision we made! My husband and I were joined by one

We had a great morning with Sadie, our guide. The trip included 2 rappels at Grandstaff canyon and then a hike back out to the trailhead. Really fun and the right mix of adventure and beauty. While hiking we crossed small streams multiple times which was beautiful. It was mostly

ONE Fantastic Canyoneering experience! FIRST time at Rappelling and Cadi made us feel so confident, safe and educated when the time came to rappell our first 85ft wall, it was so much fun! I had prepared myself for being a bit scared and when it was my turn, before I knew it I

There were two repels on this trip. My 10 year old son totally freaked out on the first one. Our guide Danny calmly talked him down. I was amazed at how well Danny handled the situation. By the time we get to the second repel my son was excited and enthusiastic.
