You get to see everything in one day! All the main sites in San Francisco, a lunch break in Sausalito, and a walk around Muir Woods. If you have selected the Alcatraz option, you will take a ferry ride to Alcatraz Island in the afternoon for the Official Alcatraz Tour.

Our original booking was on a day that a bomb cyclone hit SFO resulting in damage around the city and Muir Woods. Dylan tours was great communicating and offering up either a refund or rebooking of the tour. We chose to rebook and our tour guide Captain Roger was wonderful. The only snafu was that we had booked Alcatrez and we either didn't hear or weren't told we had to rebook our tickets and request a refund for that portion. Thank goodness there were tickets still available as I had to book them from the tour bus. The tour we were on started out at the wharf and Captain Roger took us on tour of various sights in SFO, including the Presidio and the Golden Gate Bridge. We then proceeded on to the Muir Woods, which were incredible and we had approximately 45 minutes to walk around. We then went to Sausalito and ended up eating a fast lunch at a deli and headed back to SFO going to "billionaires row" before going to the Embaracadero for our tour to Alcatrez. Captain Roger was wonderul, fun and had an amazing play list too. Overall everything was handled wonderfully and I highly recommend.

This tour is recommended. Great way to experience various areas in and around the city and leave the logistics to someone else. There was lots of wind and rain during the time we visited and Muir Woods was closed for safety. Our driver Jake used his knowledge to adjust the trip and take us elsewhere to view beautiful redwood groves. This is just one example of the awesome quality of our guide. A tour is always better when the guide is clearly passionate and loves his city and this was one of those tours and Jake is that guide! Additionally Sausolito was beautiful and the food recommendations were spot on. We enjoyed some really good, fresh tacos. Finally we wrapped our trip up with the visit to Alcatraz which was a great way to end the day. Book this tour for a day of fun, beauty, and history.

Patrick has a great fun personality! He definitely added charisma, entertainment, and lots of knowledge about SF, music, history, media etc. The tour was a great way to see a little bit of everything. Another hour in Muir Woods and Sausalito would have been better but then we would have missed the Alcatraz tour. If I had to go back I would do Alcatraz on a different day to spend more time in Muir and Sausalito. Thats more of a scheduling preference than a tour company thing but noting it for those who may want to consider the option when choosing tours. Either way, Dylan’s Tours was great and I would highly recommend and book with them again.

Great first day in San Fran. My wife and I lived in area for three years, brought our kids back to see where we met. Perfect way to introduce them to the city. Wish I’d taken the tour when I first arrived years ago. Our guide, Sully, gave us a great feel for the different parts of the city and the history that explains what the city is today.

My husband and I booked this tour on a whim and we are so glad we did. Our guide Patrick was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the areas visited but was also funny and included everyone in the group. He played music throughout the tour with links to San Fran and quizzed us along the way. We can’t fault Patrick or the tour. It’s such a fantastic way to see Muir Woods and Sausalito as well as see all the different neighbourhoods in San Fran. 100% would recommend!!

Excellent tour! Jake our guide was very laid back and informative. Muir Woods,, Sausalito were beautiful and Alcatraz fascinating. This is the best way to see these sites efficiently.
There was time for about an hour and a half hike in Muir Woods which was plenty for us.

Muir Woods are simply wonderful.
Sausolito is cute. One has to eat somewhere, so might as well here.

We had to meet at 8:15am and he then dropped us at Alcatraz ferry terminal for the 2ish departure. By time we toured Alcatraz we caught the 4:30 ferry back i think.

The tour bus parked in a central location near the water and we were able to choose where we wanted to eat. The tour guide did advise a few of his favourite places. We chose an outside table in a cafe at the base of a local hotel for the view of the marina. We had the most beautiful weather that day...
Does the Alcatraz tour include walking around the inside. The cells and everything.

Hi have you pre-booked a tour you won't be able to get a ticket on the day go to the website alcatrazcruises and pre-book a ticket. The queue for Alcatraz is long so the likelihood of getting a ticket on the day is zero.
