A VW enthusiasts dream... 😁
Whist back home in England we looked up some San Francisco Tours and stumbled across SF Love Tours and was like YES we need to do this.. We are die hard VW enthusiasts and thought what better way to see the city than in a VW Bay Window Van.

So we booked for Sunday mid Morning and went to the meeting point to meet our driver. The van was there a little bit early so we wondered over and introduced ourselves to our driver who turned out to be Judith and waited for another family.

We got going on the tour straight away and Judeth launched into full tour enthusiasm which was informative with loads of interesting and crazy facts. We'd already been in SF for 3
Days and felt like we'd seen so much already but Judith threw in plenty more places that we would have discovered or known the facts that went with them.

For us it was just such a fun experience the smell and sound of the bus, back firing coasting down the SF hills, the music Cruising through the streets, it just made us smile from ear to ear constantly.

Judith was brilliant and a great host, made the experience fun with her enthusiasm and her driving could be crazy at times but hey it SF and for us it just made the whole thing so much better.

Only one negetive for me... Get the bus a cell phone holder..😉

Allen, our driver and guide was absolutely the best. I’ve taken many tours around the country but none can top the San Francisco Love Tour. It was fun and informative. If I could give it 6 stars I would.

Perfect way to experience SFO
Oct 2021 • Couples
Fantastic experience with Alan! We just finished our 2-hour+ SF tour with 2 other couples. This was just the BEST way to see the city, learn some interesting facts AND enjoy a perfectly-curated music-in-the-background ride. Alan found perfect spots to park, twice, during the tour and all of us felt like this was a fun idea for people who’ve already been to SFO. Don’t miss this tour - it’s a memory-maker!!

I have to say the best part of our trip was the driver. He made it fun (of course our co-riders dressed in hippie clothes helped)Alan our driver who I think is owner was personable and knowledgeable. Had us all laughing.

An absolute must
This is a must if visiting SF! What a wonderful way to see the different districts. This was my 3rd trip 2 SF and now I feel like I've seen everything.
The VW was the cutest and the guide was AMAZING! I learned so much history and we got great pics of the Golden Gate Bridge. Would book this again

A Different Side of SF
Sep 2021 • Solo
Super fun and informative. I felt that I got to really see San Francisco from a different point of view since we could go to places a bus can’t. Great music too. The guide was very informative and fun.

Mind blowing
Sep 2021 • Couples
My wife and I took this tour 3 years ago and it was so great that one of the reasons we flew all the way from North Carolina to SF was to do it again with our sons and daughter-in-laws. So I booked a private tour for all of us. As good as the regular tour is, the customized private tour is yet another level, it will, appropriately, blow your mind. Regular tour or private tour, both are not just tours, they are an experience. Driver/tour guide Judith was incredible. It was like a personal friend was taking you around the city, but not just any friend, one with tremendous knowledge and an even better sense of whimsy and sense of humor. There are so many things to do in SF, but if you do one thing, do this tour.

Groovy!
We booked our VW bus experience well in advance, and payed the slight amount extra for our group of four to have the bus to ourselves. Masks are required in the bus and our driver Judith, who arrived a few minutes early to our hotel to get us, was very friendly and professional and kept hers on the whole time. The tour lasted four hours and took us to places way off the beaten path, and also included the well known spots as our group included first time visitors and seasoned veterans. Even us vets were impressed with Judith’s depth of knowledge and the interesting finds along the way. We easily got in everything we wanted to see and more. And we appreciated being asked at the start what we wanted to include. The VW bus gets lots of attention as well as you are driving along with The Grateful Dead blasting out of their really good sound system. They allow food and drink, even alcoholic beverages, on the bus which I wish we had known in advance as we would have come more prepared. Overall it’s a great way to see the city I. A different way, and it’s highly recommended. Bring your vino!
