Family fun with the best tour guide, Judy!
Jun 2021 • Family
Judy was out tour guide for the bike tour and was hands down, amazing. We had my 4 year old and 1.5 year old with us and my youngest was not cooperating in the bugging and crying during our first stop. Judy was so kind and accommodating and I never felt like she was bothered by my son crying. As a mom who likes to take her kids on adventures I really appreciate hosts like Judy. It was a tough ride but so awesome! It is family friendly and I highly recommend. Thanks again for all your fun knowledge of the city, Judy!

Great Experience!
Dec 2019
Opted for this combo package only due to Alcatraz availability. We biked to North Tower Golden Gate Parking & back, took a different route on the return trip. The ferry service from Sausalito to Fisherman's Wharf was shut due to Xmas. Hats off to Steve for his service!

Great days spoilt by a rather impatient guide on bike tour
Dec 2019 • Family
We had older people and teens in the group. The tour was good till the last 30 minutes when she became rather very impatient. Two people fell from the bikes close to the bay city rental on the return and she was nowhere to be seen. Otherwise the tour was great.

Hi there, Thank you for sharing your feedback. I am glad to hear that you enjoyed your guided bike tour. We expect a lot from our guides because they are responsible for the safety of the group- we thoroughly train each guide in group management and safety. Our tours are designed to take two and a half to three hours, but if they take longer, our guides are required to remain with the group to ensure all riders finished the tour safely. Often our tour guide will have to ride ahead to make sure everyone is stopped at the closest intersection, or to ensure everyone is following behind him/her. We re-group at each crosswalk along the way so the group will stay together. We are surprised to hear your feedback about our tour guides, as you will see from the number of positive reviews, they are all highly rated. Thank you for this feedback, we will certainly discuss with our tour guide team and provide some retraining if necessary. I hope you will come back to try a tour again so we can show you the levels of service our customers have come to expect. Ashley

Great time!
Judy was an excellent tour guide! It’s not something I would have done by just renting a bike and riding around so I’m glad we decided to do the tour! Riding over the bridge is a bit stressful as walkers are unaware of what’s going on around them but all the bikes have bells to warn others around them. Would definitely do it again!

bucket list
Sep 2019
I did the cycle tour on the Thursday and not having been on a bike for years was a little wary of the cycle but a nice group of 13 and the guide Judy who was excellent all way through it turned out most enjoyable the stops for the history information were good and Judy got everyone to buddy up with someone so to help each other on cycle some steep hills but id recommend the e bike if not used to cycling the ferry back from Sausalito was a nice way of seeing the bay too. on the Friday then did the Alcatraz tour again organised very well boarding the prison itself was a revelation to think that this held prisoners way back must have been a hard life for them and I could understand why no one ever escaped and the colony of birds now that have taken up residence on island a safe haven for them well worth a visit

Best Way to get to Sausalito
Aug 2019
Totally recommend this tour, Alcatraz was on my bucket list, I really enjoyed the tour. Regarding the bike tour, it was very good, the views you get to see during the ride are amazing. I recommend going on the earliest tour possible, so you can continue to use the bike throughout the day.
