San Francisco Ultra Chocolate Tour

Overview
The connections between San Francisco and chocolate are, of course, far richer than just one tourist attraction. If you're on a romantic or fun-filled vacation without the kids, and have a penchant for chocolate and alcohol, then this small-group tour might be just right. On a 3-hour sojourn, your expert guide will lead you through downtown and the historic waterfront, stopping for artisanal cocktails, Belgian beer and chocolates, plus a wine flight. Even better: you receive a Chocolate Lover Card and get VIP treatment at 10 different chocolate boutiques.
What to Expect

Start your 3-hour walking tour in downtown San Francisco, where you’ll set out on foot with a savvy local guide. Arrive ready to devour generous chocolate tastings at seven different stops and indulge your sweet tooth with each confectionary delight paired with artisan drinks.

Your tasting itinerary includes an elegant downtown hotel bar where you’re treated to a craft cocktail; a French wine bar serving a wine and truffle flight including four varietals of wine plus four chocolates; a beloved local chocolatier showcasing farm-fresh ingredients in fleur de sel (hand-harvested sea salt) caramels; a San Francisco bean-to-bar chocolate maker specializing in single-origin chocolate; a specialty newsstand with a blind tasting including some of its 225 chocolate bars from 15 countries; a local chocolatier offering handcrafted truffles; and a charming pastry shop serving up Parisian macaroons.

Please note: Tastings are subject to change without notice. Most dietary restrictions can be accommodated.

Gourmet Chocolate Galore!

Our guide Marie was wonderful. She was friendly, informative, and accommodating. The chocolate was delicious. There was more chocolate that we could eat! I highly recommend this tour and Marie, especially if you like gourmet chocolate.
