Muir Woods and Wine Country tour with gourmet food & wine pairing upgrade
Combine two of San Francisco’s top area attractions—Muir Woods and Wine Country—on this tour, which saves you valuable vacation time and dollars. At Muir Woods, enjoy convenient drop-off without fighting for parking, and take your time exploring the redwoods. Head for Sonoma and Napa for visits to three wineries, where you can taste vintages without worrying about who will do the designated driving.
What to Expect
After early morning pickup at your San Francisco hotel, sit back and enjoy the scenery as you cross the Golden Gate Bridge on the way out of the city. Arrive at Muir Woods before most of the crowds, and take the next hour to explore, strolling the paths through the towering redwoods. Your guide will be right there to answer any questions.

Back on the bus, stop first at a winery in Sonoma County’s Carneros region to taste a flight of different vintages. Take a break for lunch, and choose either to venture out on your own or upgrade for an included lunch with wine pairings.

Next, hit the second and third wineries. Tasting fees are included, saving money you may want to put toward purchasing a bottle.

Enjoy the scenery or snooze on the drive back to San Francisco.

Great day. Would recommend.

We booked this tour because of the positive TripAdvisor review. We were not disappointed. Great day spent touring wineries. All the tasting fees were included. Worth it.

Too crowded

Driver was 30 minutes late and then when we got on the bus it was completely full and me and my girlfriend had to squeeze in seats with strangers. I instantly regret booking this.

We returned to our hotel around 6:30PM. There was rush hour traffic, and then because the afternoon was clear and gorgeous, our driver took us up to the lookout point over the Marin Headlands.

No, that’s not a requirement. At the wineries, there’s very little walking, so it would depend on how strenuous of a walk you want to take through Muir Woods, which is mostly boardwalk and not woodland terrain. You’ll be... More
