This is a good way to see most of the island. I would recommend this when you first get to the island. Once you start spending more time on the island, the tour becomes less value. The app worked well. The information is good but minimal. It seems like they did minimal amount of research. There are very long pauses in between points of interest. About a fourth of the info seems random and not relevant to your current location. It felt like they were struggling to fill the empty space. And it definitely left like someone created this tour from their home, googling all of the info, and never did the tour.

Thanks for your feedback! We wanted to create a tour with a mix of history, fun facts, and must-visit points. It’s based on our own experience of the island! We didn’t realize some of these fun facts might seem so random though — so we’ll certainly take a second look at the tour and make some updates. If there’s anything you want us to add, please let us know!
Areas with long pauses — some of these are intentional (so that the audio isn’t constantly “talking”) but we’d love to know specifically which pauses seemed too long. Could you please email us more details?

Good information, got a lay of the land, some key things to know to set expectations and possible enhancements. App works well and I love that I am able to view the transcript anytime I want, like posting on social media so I could educate my friends and family.
1. Follow the map in ascending numeric order. You can start anywhere along the map but if you go in reverse the information on the upcoming location will be after you pass it.
2. Not every point on the map is a “site” to see, some information is historic or about Guam.
3. I was solo and sometimes it would have been nice to have another person in the car. I put my earphones on my phone and the radio on so I could have background sound during down times.
4. speaking of down times, there are some areas that have long gaps of silence, I would try to look at the map and drive so I knew I hadn’t missed anything- another reason for another person.
5. Possible enhancement- along the route we drive through different areas, I think they’re referred to as villages. Perhaps info on that village when you enter would be nice, how did it get its name, what is it about that village. That would help some of the quiet time in the app.
6. Do this when you first arrive. This will give you an idea of where you may want to go back and spend more time. I did get out at some of the points along the way, like Two Lovers Point and a few of the overlooks. I did this in 4 hours with notes of where I want to go back to see something I missed- like the bridge at Sella Overlook.
Overall I would do this again. I became familiar with where different sites are around the island relative to my lodging.

I’ve used Viator tours before but didn’t feel this was up to their usual standards. There is a lot of down time on the audio that could have been filled with more information. Also, it needs updating. After leaving 2 lovers point, I was exactly on the map in the app, but IRL I was on a pot holed, overgrown road behind a hospital with do not enter signs. Had to make my way back to the main highway and pick up the route again. Guam doesn’t have a lot of signage, so when the audio talks about something you really have to turn it off and look for whatever it is. So, it is very difficult to use if you are alone and don’t have someone helping to navigate. However, it was a good way to see the island on the first day and figure out where to spend more time later.

We had a great time exploring the island and learning about the history along the way. My son and his wife are stationed in Andersen and he said,”because of this tour, we have seen more than we probably would have ever seen on our own.”

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. I bought here and never got the instructions and they would not give me a refund and said that they sent it to me. And since you cant meet up with them you cant show them that you havent received anything.
