Honoring the survivors and participants of the Liberation of Guam in 1944.
The views were amazing. The history, spirit, loyalty, hospitality, and culture of the indigenous Chamorro people is extremely obvious island wide.

Full of satisfaction !! Thanks to Ben (Our guide) !!
Ben who was our guide was fantastic!! He definitely made our day!! He was very humorous, witty, easy to talk to and smiled all the time. Before lunchtime, he gave us a demonstration like making a fire with woods and some of the participants were picked out and played rock-scissors-paper and they all got nice presents. Anyway, the whole tour was excellent. Nothing to complain of. I definitely recommend this tour !! Special thanks to Ben !!

      Lots to learn!
Great tour! Our guide was very informative, she told us about almost every flower and animal in the area and provided a ton of great history. The lunch provided by Grill Sgt was also very good—lots of history and cultural demonstrations added to the experience. Definitely recommend.

Easy kayaking experience. History, nature and culture all put together in one experience.
The park is very well thought out. It is very rustic which was nice. We where the only two who had signed up for the kayak tour. The other 100 people or so at our time slot did the boat tour. I absolutely loved being able to take our time and enjoy the river. Our guide was new and had good information. The botanical park was great because everything was labeled. The making of fire and the weaving was fascinating. The lunch was great. The owner was a super kind man who helped us figure out our taxi situation. I would recommend experiencing this Chamorro history.

I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Guam. It was very informative of Chomorro culture and the nature of the island. Rosie? Aaron, and Andy were my tour guides. They were are very warm and friendly. They furtheted my appreciation for Guam, it's natural environment and it's people. It is helpful to wear waterproof shoes and bring water to keep hydrated.

      Kayaking
Thoroughly enjoyed the kayaking. During the kayaking you stop to see some beautiful things: land crabs, catfish and other fish, the animal sanctuary, rare fruits and plants, fire making and stop at a beautiful Chamorro village. The tour guide was well knowledged and made sure we had enough breaks in the shade. The whole team was very professional and made the experience enjoyable.

      SUP Paddle w Keith 10/10
If you're looking for something to do, whether youre traveling or living on Guam, this is it! We got there at 9am and looked around the gift shop, had a quick safety lesson and got in! Keith gave us an awesome tour of the beautiful rivers and valley while telling us about the nature around us! He also was able to inform us about tons of Chamorro culture at the village. After paddle boarding the rivers we took a stop to look at more beautiful fruit trees and have lunch! The lunch was local from their local farms and they made sure to have a vegetarian option for me. Between the history, outdoor adventure, Keith's extensive knowledge and great conversation we would recommend this place 10/10. Easy to paddle and they have kayak options too! Very family friendly! Bring water, sunscreen & waterproof case for your phone! We will be coming back for more adventures they offer.

Great Jungle Exploration But Very Little Education
Jungle kayaking was quite a unique adventure! Overall, the experience was very friendly, fun, communal and great but I left with little to no education of Guam history or Chamorro culture. I expected to learn so much as I traversed the Talofof and Ugum Rivers based on the companies own website descriptions. There was NO "Latte Experience": no mention of basket weaving exhibitions, no fire starting demonstrations, no lesson on ancient Chamorro Culture. This certainly was a fun-filled few hours with an average lunch but I feel mislead on the expectations of this adventure. I can recommend the kayaking but I would not put this tour on your immediate or critical to-do list while on Guam.

      Educational Experience
Valley of the Latte was an amazing experience for the students I brought from our summer education program. The staff was very helpful to me when booking this field trip. The business also generously gave us student discounts and provided an optional transportation fee that was priced at a great value. The experience that my students had at this destination was invaluable they were able to observe what life was like for the ancient CHamoru people. They were also able to observe animals that can be found in a river setting and they were able to visualize the Ridge to Reef concept and how what we do on land effects our rivers and oceans and to help illustrate the importance our fresh water systems have on our entire island. Overall an exceptional destination. The highlight of the field trip for the students was when they were taught how to make fire the ancient CHamoru way by rubbing two sticks together.

This cruise, without a doubt was a success for my son, his wife and 2 children (ages 9/7). Aside from my son visiting Guam when he was much younger, it was the first visit for his wife and children.

The children were truly engaged and intrigued with the local stories, crafts and food. It was quite pleasant to watch them interact with the tour guide, presenters and staff.

I personally enjoyed it all, but my favorite was the gift shop packed with local arts and crafts. It was a challenge trying to decide which to buy so ended up buying 2. My grandchildren enjoyed the fresh cut up watermelon also.

Highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to get a true interactive glimpse of the island culture. We all agree we would definitely take the tour again.

My wife, 7 year old, and I went to the Valley of the Latte today and were blown away! The jungle cruise, the ancient Latte site, the demonstrations, lunch, more demonstrations, and animals all well worth the cost. Captain Andy was knowledgable and funny as he steered us down the Ugum and Talafofo rivers, Pineapple Ben fed the crabs and catfish, weaved us toys, and caught a catfish! It was rainy, but that was probably for the best, it really kept the temperatures reasonable...a bit of a wet butt, but I'll take that over a sweat soaked shirt any day. the rain did make the Latte site muddy, but careful steps allowed us to view all the beautiful nature and magnificent (and ancient) Latte Stones. Everyone who guided us through this was just so knowledgable and friendly, true Hafa Adai spirit. Lunch was served and it was delicious...I just wish they had some donné (hot pepper) with the finadene. To top off the day, my son got to ride his first Carabao! Carabao Man was super awesome, the Carabao was too! I cannot say enough about Capt. Andy, Pineapple Ben, the coconut grater, Carabao Man, all the weavers, and everyone working there. What an experience! We bought an annual membership and will probably be back before we leave island...so much fun, and so much learning!

What an experience! Both my parents are from this beautiful island, but I was born in the mainland and never made it here until now. This tour is a must do when visiting Guam! My family, including two teenage boys, loved this tour. We arrived early in the valley with time to spare. After checking in, we had a long conversation with a man who turned out to be the captain of our boat! He pointed out local trees and even took us to see some turtles from the bridge across the street before our tour even began. We boarded a large boat and set off upstream. Our first stop was an ancient chamorro village site where they welcomed us with song and dance. We learned all about coconuts, the native trees and flowers and their uses, as well as the thousand year old latte stones and their purpose. We even learned some chamorro words during the demonstration. We had time to take pictures and enjoy the scenery before boarding the boat again to go further upstream. We stopped to see the riverbanks, coconut crabs and catfish. Then we stopped at another site where we saw how they made sea salt and coconut oil. We also got to try our hand at weaving using bamboo leaves. Our boys got to choose an item that was weaved by a local weaver to take home as souvenirs! There were some local goats and deer as well as a karabao at this site, which we got to have a short ride on. There was another demonstration where they showed us how ancient Chamorros built fires using the local wood and coconut husks. Lunch was catered by a local company and was great. We had bbq chicken and ribs along with red rice, finadene, spinach, and banana. The trip ended with a boat ride back and shaved ice from the gift shop. This is truly a memorable family adventure you don’t want to miss!

Our family (including kids 10 and 13 yr old) all thoroughly enjoyed our time at Valley of the Latte! The boat ride was wild - we saw crabs, catfish, and other animals in/near the river. Everyone (even adults) had the opportunity to ride a caribou, my kids loved the animals we met at the village (boat, chickens, goat, deer). I loved the walk through the plants and trees with descriptions of their names and traditional uses. The latte stones in their natural environment really helped you envision how a riverside village looked. The demonstrations on how to open and use a coconut, the many uses of the woven palm leaves, making a fire from "scratch," and giveaway games kept the audience entertained while educating them on Chamorro culture. Lots of laughter and applause!

The food was delicious fiesta food. There were unlimited cold drinks. Coco Jay needs a raise for how hard he worked to keep his guests happy! It was so hot and this guy was doing stand up comedy while cracking a coconut open with a rock and kamyu-ing the niyok! Very talented!! Being Chamorro, but raising my family off island, I am so grateful that there are businesses like this in Guam working very hard to educate people on Chamorro culture and passing it down to the next generation in the best possible way, by immersing all our senses in the beauty of the Chamorro culture. You will never forget your time at Valley of the Latte! Si Yu'os Ma'åse' ❤️

We took a group of families with children on the autism spectrum on this tour. They loved it! Management and staff were especially helpful and mindful of the various needs of our families and children. They accommodated us wonderfully! The tour itself was informative and fun and kept everyone engaged. The kids were thrilled when the Pineapple guy caught a huge catfish for a show-n-tell on the boat! The crabs, petting zoo, and carabao ride were also big hits!

I can't express how grateful I am to have been a part of this tour! I am from Guam and have lived there for many years, but it wasn't until my visit back home that I was able to go on this adventure. The people there are absolutely phenomenal! Pineapple Ben, CocoJay, Adam, Tony Mantanona and all the weavers, and of course, Mr. John Aguon, the Karabao man, made this tour fun, educational, and engaging. There is so much to soak up about our CHamoru culture and I would highly recommend everyone, locals and tourists, to give it a chance. I loved every bit of my time there.

Valley of the Latte Adventure Park Guam has so much to offer! We went as a family and it was so much fun! Our guide was super friendly and even our preteen had a great time! We cruised up the Talofofo and Ugum River seeing and feeding fish, monitor lizards, and so many local plants. We were able to see Chamorro houses on latte stones, eat fresh coconut, and explore local fruit trees too! There are so many beautiful flowers too! They made us a wonderful lunch. We learned how to make fire the Chamorro way too!
The natural springs were really neat to see! You could see the water bubbling up and mixing with the brackish river water due to high tide. The animal sanctuary showed some of the animals that have been brought to Guam over the years by other countries.

Overall, this tour didn’t disappoint! Everyone was super friendly, knowledgeable, and shared information in a fun way! They even crafted us palm leaf fish, roses, and baskets. We finished the day off with carabao rides and more pictures of flowers!

This tour was like stepping back in time! I loved it it!!

    Definitely a photographers paradise too!!

Took a cruise along the river today a
with a lunch stop and tours of the animal sanctuary and tribal home. It was a rain on and off type of day but the staff was very flexible and made it the best experience. The demonstrations of tribal life and basket weaving is truly an art form and very interesting. We cannot remember the last time we had such enthusiastic staff that went over the top to ensure this day was perfect. Thank you very much for your knowledge and fantastic attitudes!!!

I don’t believe I could say which part was my favorite. I enjoyed it from start to finish. Adam was a very good captain along with his side kick Pineapple Joe making our ride down the River so entertaining. At our stop to do our short walking tour we were authentically greeted by Coco Jay and Luke (I think that was his name…so sorry). Our meal was quite tasty and we were able to request vegan for those in our party who required a special diet. I highly recommend this adventure.

The Riverboat Cruise was great, boat captain was very knowledgeable about the whole area and was also very funny, kept making everyone laugh. We saw several Iguanas and lots of land crabs and the huge catfish, we went down another river and headed into the valley. After the cruise, we were given a tour of all the local fruit trees and ate some local fruits then we were treated to a great bar-b-que lunch and some demonstrations on coconut weaving and how to start a fire with just two pieces of wood. I highly recommend this tour, especially if you want to get away from everything and just relax.
