Our ATV tour with Esther and Emma was unforgettable—words can’t fully capture how incredible it was, which is why I’ve delayed writing this review! We’re a family of 4—2 adults and 2 tweens—and were staying at ACE Adventure Resort. We opted for whitewater rafting & this side-by-side tour (along with a few hikes and a day at the water park). The reservation specialist explained our options: we could either drive a side-by-side as a family of four (driven by us) or split up and have a guide drive. She assured me that a guide would ramp up the excitement by 100%. She was right. I briefly considered staying back while my husband and boys went on the tour, but I am so glad I decided to splurge on two side-by-sides so we could all experience this epic adventure in pairs. Esther and Emma were phenomenal. My younger son and I rode with Esther, who went out of her way to make sure we were having the time of our lives. Esther and Emma clearly delighted in thrilling my boys--who were left completely speechless by it all. There was mud slinging, stunning scenery, high-speed driving, spinning muddy donuts, and a giant mud pit where we got stuck (and had to be towed out by Emma, my husband, and my older son in their side-by-side). This "glitch" only added to the awesome insanity. My boys couldn’t stop talking about this adventure for weeks—it, along with whitewater rafting, was the highlight of our trip. I’m so grateful to Esther and Emma for creating such an incredible experience for our family. Splurging on two side-by-sides with guides was 100% worth it!

I wasn't sure what to expect with this trip, but booked it anyway since we were passing through the area. While it is pricey, it is a fun adventure to do with your friends. Our guide Esther was fantastic, supportive and informative along the way. It's more of an adventure/ride vs. site seeing trip, but very fun!

We went on both the 'Ride with a guide ' UTV tour and the 4 hour jeep tour. Esther was a great guide. She made sure everyone was safe and comfortable and she made the entire experience fun! These tours allow you to see the back country roads and views of the New River Gorge you won't see any other way. Best part of our trip!!!

Absolutely amazing experience!! Jacob our guide was great, from explaining how to operate the machine to how to stay safe he made our experience incredibly fun!! This is a great time well worth the price! Having never been on an ATV before , I felt safe confident and most of all I had a blast ! I would highly recommend this adventure, soooo worth it !

It won’t be the same riding anywhere else. You have shade in the summer, mud, mountain climbing and a stop with a beautiful view. I imagine this would be quite spectacular in the fall as well when the leaves are changing. If you’re looking for a reason to get muddy and have some fun this is the place. Josh was an awesome guide and my 3 sons and I had a fantastic time! Left wanting more after the 2.5 hour ATV ride.

My husband & I had an atv tour with Jenn this morning. Our experience was a 10 out of 10. Booking & check in were easy. Our guide, Jenn was incredible. She communicated exactly what to expect & how to operate the machines. We never felt uncomfortable & always felt like we were safe & in control. Jenn knew the trails very well which made us feel extremely safe. This experience was so much fun & the highlight of our trip to WV.

Jacob and Jenn were AMAZING. This adventure is a 12-10! They aren’t kidding when they say don’t wear your Sunday best because you do get dirty! So much fun…. 150% recommend.

We had a great time out on the ATVs. Emma was a wonderful guide who was patient with us as we learned the ropes of riding. The ride is mostly shaded, which is nice, but takes you out to a beautiful overlook for a break. We even saw a mother deer and fawn during the ride.

This was my second ATV trip with New River ATV. It exceeded my expectations. Esther was a fabulous guide. She discussed the flowers we were seeing and took us to a breathtaking overlook of the New River Gorge. I am already looking forward to my next trip with them.

Jen was an amazing guide for our ATV tour! It was our first time on ATVs, and she made us both feel super comfortable. We appreciated that she made regular stops along the way to check in with how we were feeling and gave us options of different routes to take. She did a great job at adjusting the route based on what we wanted to do, whether it was taking a steeper path or going through more mud holes. She also took great photos and videos at multiple points throughout! Thank you for a great time!!

We had a great time on our first ATV experience. Esther, our guide, was excellent and took us on a good ride. She took good care of our mom, who was very nervous, which made everything much better. We wouldld love to go back and do it again on a more challenging trail.

We LOVED the tour given by Corey. He really knows the backroads and history of the area. He was such a genuinely interesting person; we felt we learned as much about the folks who live there as we did about the environs. Back "at the ranch", we felt the hospitality often attributed to West Virginians. Thanks for making our experience unique and oh so much fun!

So much fun!! I would definitely repeat and absolutely recommend New River ATV. My friend and I went this morning in the pouring rain! We got wet and muddy and I loved it! We are pretty much beginners, our guide Josh thoroughly went through running the vehicles and we were very comfortable operating the ATVs. Lots of puddles and mud enroute to our destination overlooking New River Gorge. Josh is very experienced outfitter and knowledgeable of the River and gorge area! Touché New River ATV.

Best tour ever! Cory was our guide and took us on the craziest, twistiest, mountain roads. He gave us a little history of the area as well, but didn't bore us with constant chatter (but would answer any questions we had!) We went on Easter afternoon and there were even easter baskets in the jeep for our girls. Everyone in the family loved it!

Josh and Adam were amazing tour guides for our 3-hour adventure . We had a group of 7 and made sure we had a fun but safe time. I highly recommend this tour if you are looking for an adventure and to the some beautiful WV back county
