- O1233TDmichaelc00Great Day with Awesome ViewsCheryl planned a variety of stops for our tour enabling us to see native trees, flowers, waterfalls and of course the Mt. Rainier summit. She was very knowledgeable and provided great information. She also adjusted our hikes to accommodate my sometimes troublesome knees. We had a great day.
- patrisew00Whidbey Island TourThe tour was great. I really enjoyed the view from Deceptions pass. You also must try the salmon jerky.
- TvS700Best private Mt Rainier tour-Great Experience!Cheryl was a great guide and we thoroughly enjoyed the Mt Rainier tour. She customizes each tour to your preference and abilities for hiking the different trails and if you'd rather do a picnic lunch or a restaurant meal. She's very knowledgeable about the history and geography of the area which we luved learning about. It's great going with someone local who knows where all the restrooms and water refill stations are AND the secret picnic spot with a beautiful view of the mountain! She also provides some snacks and really nice reusable water bottle that you get to keep. If we ever make it back to the ared we will definitely come back for another tour.
- Bkchero00Mount Rainier Tour July 19, 2023We initially booked a tour of Mt. St. Helens as a pre-cruise trip. Unfortunately the road to the visitor's center was washed out in a mudslide so Cheryl suggested switching to Mt. Rainier. It ended up being a fantastic day. The mountain and surrounding national park are spectacular to visit. Cheryl knew all the good spots for pictures, hikes, a scenic lunch and park history. She also knew a lot about what we saw and explained it well. We would recommend her tours to anyone.
- Linda M00Great Wine Tasting & Washington State ExperienceCheryl planned a great day of wine tasting for us and planned little extra touches that made even the trip from our Seattle hotel to the vineyards/wineries and back an enjoyable experience. She called us ahead to customize the trip per our preferences, she pointed out highlights along the way after picking us up from our hotel, and made sure we had snacks, water (and water bottle to keep), and tailored lunch across a couple of the wineries per our preference, all in addition to the wine tasting experiences at three wineries that had a great diversity and delicious wines. Besides the wine tasting, the trip back and forth from Seattle was a great part of the experience as we really enjoyed the scenery and learning a little about the different Washington landscapes and climates between Seattle and Eastern Washington (desert area).
- SherrieW95600Best day of our trip!My daughter and I did the Snoqualmie Falls, Leavenworth, and Deception Falls tour with Cheryl. What a great day! Cheryl had interesting facts and stories along the route and recommendations in Leavenworth. Absolutely will tour with Cheryl again when next in the area!
- OnAir3197918615500Amazing day at Mt. RainierCheryl goes above and beyond to provide her guests with the history, geology and tourist information about Seattle and surrounding towns, Mt. Rainier National Park, and the state of Washington while you sit back and enjoy some special treats during the ride. She was truly a wealth of information and stopped numerous times to provide us with photo and shopping opportunities. Cheryl also took time to show us some of her favorite spots. As we were ending our day, we ran into two tour buses and I couldn't help but think how nice it was to have our own personal guide rather than being part of a huge tour. Our day was truly amazing and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cheryl's Northwest Tours to anyone visiting the Seattle area!
- Stay1298293878400If you’re looking to experience nature……We spent a lovely day with Cheryl, she was very friendly and customised our tour to suit our needs. We saw all of the sights and Cheryl was full of information regarding Mount Rainier, the surroundings and the history of the area. We stopped at a small restaurant for lunch, the experience could have been better, but that was beyond Cheryl’s control. It was a wonderful day out in nature with the trees, wildlife and powerful waterfalls. Cheryl was great!!!
- tobyg85700We got to know SeattleWhat a terrific day we had with Cheryl. From the complementary water bottles to the comfortable SUV and Cheryl’s warm personality, we were off to a great start. Our tour took us to the many neighborhoods of Seattle. Cheryl explained the history of the city. We enjoyed the fishing docks and the fish ladder and a car tour of Pike Place. All in all, it was a wonderful experience. Thanks, Cheryl.
- Donald C00Incredible visit to Olympic National ParkWe went in late April and there had been so much snow that seeing Hurricane Ridge wasn’t possible. So, we went into the south of the park and enjoyed 2 incredible hikes through the temperate rain forest. Surreal landscape with towering trees, moss covered vegetation and pristine streams. Cheryl is extremely knowledgeable and very conversant in all aspects of Olympic National Park. Good driver. Comfortable transportation. Highly recommended.
- Inspire23877500Easy adventure thanks to Cheryl! My daughter and I wanted to see Leavenworth and Cheryl’s trip made it effortless for us. She picked us up promptly from our downtown hotel and whisked us off to Leavenworth. Along the way she shared information about Seattle and the surrounding areas. A native of Seattle, Cheryl was able to point out lots of interesting sights we would have never known about. Once we arrived my daughter and I had plenty of casually time to walk Leavenworth and take in the sights. Cheryl drove us back to Seattle by a new route so we were able to stop at several scenic overlooks. I recommend this tour 100% for anyone who wants to sit back and let someone else worry about navigating the windy mountainous roads! Thanks Cheryl!
- GlobeRunner2200Cheryl is fantastic, great day and comfortable car! Highly recommended.I very much enjoyed Cheryl's company during my private day tour to Leavenworth. She was accommodating from the get-go. I needed a private tour to Leavenworth and it was off-season and she wasn't running tours but she made an exception for me at a fair price, which was very much appreciated. Cheryl is a lovely lady, and she has a very comfortable and spacious modern car. She arrived with a bunch of snacks and water which was very kind of her. She is very personable and kept me entertained during the very long drive to and from Leavenworth. She made a few stops along the way and provided commentary where possible. I never felt rushed or pressured. Cheryl is more like a nurturing friend that anyone would feel very comfortable with. She was also very accommodating and an all-round very nice person. She doesn't have any vibe about her that she's trying to just make money, or short-change you on aspects of the tour, like I have experienced on many tours. She goes above and beyond and I would definitely book with her again if I came to Seattle. I highly recommend her to anyone.
- llynner00Outstanding private Ranier tourWe were in the Seattle area for a week and Cheryl’s tour was the highlight of it all. Her knowledge extends to every aspect of the area while also making the entire experience a lot of fun. We are planning on returning next year and we will be sure to book another tour with her company. 10/10 ⭐️
- GBJS00Alpine Village TourWe did the private "Leavenworth Alpine Village Tour" with Cheryl. She arrived at our hotel in a very comfortable and clean SUV with water bottles and snacks. We enjoyed learning tidbits about Leavenworth and the surrounding areas. She gave us suggestions on where to eat and what to visit in Leavenworth - we had about two hours to eat and explore. We were glad that someone else was driving because we encountered rain, frost, and even a little snowfall. Cheryl always checked with us to make sure that we were comfortable (e.g. bathroom stops). We thoroughly enjoyed the stops at the waterfalls, the fall colors, and the beautiful scenery of the Pacific Northwest. Thank you Cheryl!
- 219carissas00The Best!Cheryl was excellent! From the hug at the beginning of the morning to the end of the tour. She really tailored our day for us. Letting us stay longer in Leavenworth to stopping at Gold Bar which was an extra stop we asked about. So knowledgeable about the complete tour. Made our day very relaxing. The only thing bad was that the day went too fast! We would highly recommend this tour. When back in this area again, we will book another tour from her. Thank you for a wonderful day, Cheryl!
