Itinerary
Your knowledgeable local guide will collect you from your Martinborough accommodation or Featherston Station in a luxurious vehicle. You will begin your day with an informative and entertaining grape to glass tour at an award-winning, rural vineyard which comprises of a walk among the vines, a visit to the winery and down to the barrel caves.

Following this you can relax and enjoy a gourmet 2-course lunch with tea or coffee (wine at own expense). After lunch take a drive down Martinborough's 'Golden Mile' strip of vineyards to two vineyards to sample their line-ups of beautiful wines while hearing a commentary on local wine characters, a short history of the town and development of the wine industry in Martinborough. To complete the day you will take a stroll around an olive grove with the owner and taste a range of superb olive oils.

You will be dropped back at your accommodation or Featherston Station for the return train to Wellington.

Choose from one of 4 departure times when you book. Your Martinborough small-group guided wine-tasting tour runs for approximately 8 hours around the Martinborough appellation. Relax in the comfort of a luxurious vehicle as your local guide drives you around our unique wine village which has a bit of everything. Good tour - nice lunch

We had a good day tour with Jilly and particularly enjoyed the variety of wine tastings and also the visit to the Olive oil producer at the end of the tour.

Way to wine
