Nice tour of winery and village let down by poor interaction of driver/guide.
This is a good trip if you like to learn a bit more about catalonia. We got picked up in a suv with 2 other people. It was snug on the back with strangers especially on the winding roads. You visit a winery first and get to taste 7 wines. The owner was very informative. You get to go in the cellars after and then buy wine. After that you go to Siurana an old medieval village. There is a fair bit of walking up and down steep hills. Overall the trip was OK but the guide wasn't very chatty or interactive. We had trouble understanding what he was saying as he mumbled more than spoke. So we tended to drift off and get a bit bored.

Love wine? Love mountains? Do it!
We had booked the trip for a Wednesday, but then recieved a message asking if we could change to Tuesday. This made sense because the trip has a traveler minimum. Glad we were able to make Tuesday work because the trip was absolutely worth it. We tasted 4 wines, each were given an in depth description. And the tour of the winery was wonderful. We learned so much about wine from a true expert. Then we went to Siruana - where our guide gave a great explanation of the history of the area. The views were beautiful. Definitely wear a closed toe shoe and wear some sunscreen!

          Great wine and beautiful views
The winery demonstration was fascinating and Siurana had beautiful views and an interesting history. There was a bit of a language barrier with the guide, but we got by with broken bits on both ends. Next time I might opt for a tour that visits multiple wineries, but this one was still very enjoyable.

We really enjoyed the tour. I would have liked to have a dip in lake but you can't control the weather and the lake had dried. Some amazing views along route. The guide was very helpful full of local knowledge and very pleasant to share the trip with.

          Amazing tour
We took the tour of the villages as part of our family holiday, and this was a definite highlight. We started with a swim in the lake, which was amazing. The two we stopped at 3 amazing locations, each as beautiful and interesting as the other. Juan Carlos was the best host ever, he provided lots of info and entertainment along the way. Our two boys (13 & 10) loved the whole experience. Would recommend 100%!!!

          Excellent
I have booked this trip at short notice and I was a bit worried initially. However, our guide arrived promptly at our hotel. I did not give 5 stars as when I have seen two other people in the car, I have panicked tbh. A VW car, can take 5 indeed, but not for a six hours journey, and not if some of us are over the...medium size. That being said, at our first stop James, our guide, suggested to swap cars with the other one, a larger Volvo, and from there everything was perfect. James is a fantastic guide, very polite, very knowledgeable, and helpful. Be advised though, if you want to go for the waterfalls , like we did, check first if they are not dry. We have been to the lake instead. As well, if you want a hot cocked meal halfway, ask James or whoever your guide is, to cut short one of the attraction, as the stop is only 30 minutes for lunch in Prades, or no restaurant will cook you a meal in that time. Beside that, OMG, stunning views, lots of fun, cheap drinks in beautiful location, and a beautiful day out. Thank you very much James (or Jimmie?:))))

          Great family experience
Very pleasant and relaxed experience trekking on horseback in the countryside.. friendly staff and gentle mannered horses.. a good trip for children who like horses.. a good family activity. We also were taken to a church up in the mountains which had a great view of all the surrounding area out to the coast. Our fantastic guides Antonia and Jimmy very friendly and full of great knowledge.. would definitely take another trip again when I come back..

An audio guide in French is given at the start of the visit.
        Bring a vest.
It is best to book before tickets.
The guide didn't say a word to us, "get by with your audio guide".
Express visit impression.... top time 75 minutes visit!
Photos in the cave are allowed even if the instructions say otherwise.

When we arrived in Salou I got confirmation that the visit would be Sunday 16 June and that money would be deducted from my card. I had left my card number. I was then told in a new email that there would be no excursion on Sunday. The reason was that no visits were made on Sundays. Wrote that Monday was OK.
Then came another email announcing that the excursion would take place on Sunday.
On Saturday evening at 11.30 pm an email arrived announcing that the excursion was cancelled.
We never had the opportunity to visit the caves.
We were very disappointed. The whole thing was handled very badly by the organizer.

thank you. I'm sorry but this opinion is not correct and acceptable. You did not get to take the tour because I already told you there was no minimum number of people to be able to organize this tour as specified in our cancellation policy. We gave you the option to go on the day we had available to organize this tour and you told us you couldn't go and we proceeded to refund your money as indicated in our cancellation policy. thank you also, best regards
