I have lived and worked in Fort Worth since 2008. Even though my wife and I have lived here, we never had a chance to experience the Culture and History of the Fort Worth Downtown/Stockyards location.

Well, we had a weekend off, so I told my wife let’s check to see if there is a tour so that we can experience the area, and if we have family, they can experience it as well.

We booked this tour on a Saturday morning, and I’m so glad that we did. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, friendly, and exciting. We took and extensive tour of the downtown area before having ice cream at a local business, then we headed to the Stockyards for the full “Cowboy” experience!

I definitely recommend this tour for anyone that is new to the area or just never had a chance to experience the area. We will definitely be bringing our families on the tour when they come to visit in the future!

For a truly cultural experience, look no further than Historical Bus Tour of Downtown Fort Worth/Stockyards. This was a wonderful bus/walking tour. Our small group tour through the streets of Fort Worth was interesting and informative. The tour guide, was incredibly passionate about the history and made the experience come alive for my husband and I.

Ryan gave an excellent tour. Nice mix of walking and driving. Also nice mix of history and stories. The ice cream stop was surprisingly great- the owner “went to ice cream school” and it was some of the best I’ve ever had. The bus was also more comfortable than other bus yours I’ve done. The bus Windows were tall so it was easier to see. Ryan also made it a point to talk with each of us individually. Definitely recommend!

This was my first time to Fort Worth. Ryan's tour hit the highlights. He told some interesting stories about the town, and he brought Fort Worth's history to life. If he did not know something, he did not make-up an answer, which is a relief. I am from a tourist destination in Louisiana, and some guides just make up stuff.

Hey thanks for the kind review. So yeah sometimes I don't know the answer and I do appreciate the understanding. However, as a tour guide its our job to find the answer. So your question was "What are the Panther head sculptures on the Flat Iron Building?" Answer: After the Dallas reporter wrote a satirical article about a panther being washed up from the Trinity and no one noticed due to Fort Worth's weak economy. Fort Worth adopted the name "Panther City" by putting panthers on literally everything! Police badges, school mascots, baseball teams AND panther heads on the Flat Iron Building. Hope this helped a bit and again thank you!!

Our tour guide had a great personality and made this a very enjoyable experience. We wanted a nice overview of our first time to Fort Worth and were not disappointed. We were a little lost finding parking, but we got a call from the guide to help lead us in and get us parked. Once we were gathered, he never lost anyone and the tour stayed on time for every stop. Enjoyed the historical stories, especially Butch and Sundance. Well done !!

Perfect morning in Fort Worth. Ryan was was a fun and personable guide. His interest in supporting small, local businesses is fantastic. We stopped by La’ Creamian and met Lisa. Her ice cream was amazing! We arrived at the Stockyards just in time for the cattle walk and had an informative tour of the grounds. Just enough time to get your visit of Fort Worth started
