- W4853JFmichaelc0 contributionsDallas, through the eyes of expertsVisiting from Vegas, Fun Dallas Tours gave us a great experience touring the city of Dallas. We selected this particular tour because we wanted to experience many parts of Dallas, not just one area like JFK parade route, museums, etc. Our driver and guide (Richard & Dan) were amazing. We felt safe and comfortable throughout. They both had a vast knowledge of the area and history. The price was very reasonable and the three hours passed by quickly. We highly recommend this tour and The Fun Dallas Tour Co.Written October 3, 2024

This is the third time I’ve done the Dallas tour with them and I have learned some new history each time. Well worth the price for a three hour tour. Mad with myself for picking a day when the museum was shut but Orlando soon lifted my gloom with his enthusiasm and knowledge of the events of November 1963. Our family of 10 took a driving/walking JFK tour with Preston. It included walking the JFK memorial, Dealey Plaza and surrounding buildings. The van tour included the motorcade drive, Oswald’s boarding house, site of officer Tibbits shooting, and the Texan movie theatre site of Oswald’s capture. We ended the tour at the 6th Floor Museum at the Texas Book Depository which was included in the price of the tour. The tour was very informative and our guide was full of interesting facts and knowledgeable about the history of events. This was great for our group of both grandparents and teens. We would highly recommend!!

Our guide did a good job of showing us the city and explaining the events of the assassination. However, we were very disappointed to be ticketed $150.00 by the parking attendant for not leaving a parking receipt in the dashboard of our car. We parked where the guide directed us to park which was where he met us and felt he should have advised of this rule. He became defensive and blamed us for this error. We spent the money we would have used on a tip to pay an unnecessary parking ticket which soured the experience.

Dear guest ,first we would like to thank you for your review and apologize that you got a parking ticket the day of your tour .Also with all dew respect kindly bring to your attention that in 20 years of being in business it is our ultimate goal to Be on time in picking up our guests, make every guests safety ,well being a priority as well as treating everyone with respect, a wonderful time and unique experience.Lastly to drop our guests off safe, secure and happy(This is the job description of a tour guide,).It is not our companys or your guides job to educate guests on common sense in parking in a major city .Every parking lot in Downtown Dallas as well as every other major city in the Nation has signage located in every direction (PAY FOR PARKING HERE)with a machine to purchase tickets. It was also brought to my attention that you put the responsibility of taking care of your elderly father on your tour guide, literally holding him up through out your tour as he almost fell to the ground twice as well, this is not in the job description of your guide and an obvious safety issue (for future reference) .Once again we apologise you got a ticket and kindly remind you that parking lots in major cities are not free and to please read signage posted all around you to avoid this situation. Thanks so much for your review and business.Take care,be safe Best Regards..

Johnny was a terrific tour guide. He took us through every step of the assassination, following the the route taken by Osward, from the shooting, all the way to his capture and murder by Jack Ruby. He was able to offer up new perspectives toward the actions taken by not only Osward, by also JD Tippet and Ruby. This tour included a detailed examination of the Grassy knoll and the School Book Depository Museum. Also included was a visit inside the Rooming house where Osward was staying prior to the shooting. JOHNNY made this tour a "Must see" attraction in Dallas.

We had Johnny as our time guide and it's so nice to have a local as your guide. He gave us so much history which even included his family seeing President Kennedy on part of the parade route.
Johnny taught us so much about history and by walking in the area he gave us a great perspective.
The tour includes the Sixth Floor Museum admission so it's best to park right next to the museum, address 411 Elm St, and pay a flat fee of $10 for the day.

Took my family on a tour with Johnny. He was entertaining and knowledgeable. All of us had a great afternoon and would definitely recommend the tour to others. Driving tour was roughly 3 hours - encourage you to bring along a bottle of water and/or snacks if kids are involved. My 9 year old was a bit board but my 10 year old and 17 year old were completely fascinated. Having the drive through Dallas gave a greater appreciation for the time we spend in the museum afterwards. GREAT TRIP!

This was first time to Dallas. My number one priority was going to see Dealey Plaza in person. I booked the JFK Assassination Tour not knowing what to expect. And wow, it certainly exceeded expectations. The tour guide started by giving an explanation of Dealey Plaza and its history as Dallas’ beginning point. We then went to the boarding home where Lee Harvey Oswald lived. As an extra bonus, the owner of the home cam into the living room. She was 11 when Oswald lived there and knew him. It was the highlight of the tour. We went to every other point in Dallas that held significance on that day in 1963. The tour ended at the 6th Floor Museum where the fatal shots originated.
I can’t recommend this tour enough. You will not be disappointed.

This is a must for history buffs. Our tour guide, Johnny, was very knowledgeable. He provided great insights that truly brought that historical event to life as we rode along the same parade route as the president and traced the final steps of Lee Harvey Oswald. The Rooming House is an amazing frozen-in-time landmark run by a woman who actually knew Oswald. The museum complements the tour with in-depth context of the 1960s, the Kennedys, the assassination and the aftermath, as well as several theories about the motivation and parties involved. Definitely go on this tour and be sure Johnny is your guide!

All afternoon tour with Johnny, our tour guide, was a fascinating deep dive into the events of November 22, 1963.
We reviewed the eyewitness testimony of theses that saw the activities that played out from the School Book Repository, the grassy knoll, Lee Harvey Oswald’s place of residence, and Oak Cliff.
The afternoon was topped off by a visit to the JFK museum where a multimedia presentation and display replayed the official version of the events of that day. An informative and interesting day!

Fantastic tour! Johnny was not only well versed and informative, but funny and entertaining. He also was very accommodating with concern for our comfort and enjoyment. Cost included a small group tour with van transportation to the sites. Plenty of opportunity to get outside of the van and walk points of interest. It also included a ticket to the Book Depository Museum. I would definitely recommend this. It was our best experience of our entire trip to Texas.

My tour guide Dan was so, so knowledgeable about everything JFK and the assassination. I really appreciated how he respected everyone's right to their own theories and acknowledged the questions that surround the case, but was also principled about laying out the facts and being clear about where they actually lead. He was, for lack of a better word, very graceful!
Price wise, I would also say this is a great value. Not only does it include the 6th Floor Museum admission, but it also includes admission to the Oswald Rooming House which the owner usually charges $30 per person for.
I would recommend this tour for anyone visiting Dallas-- those who already know lots about Kennedy and those who are just curious. And I would recommend asking for Dan! He was enthusiastic and approachable and really knew his stuff.

There is a parking lot directly across the street from where you meet your guide. There are probably about 20 spots there if I recall correctly.. It's an hourly lot I think. Very convenient.

2. Do we have to use the museum tickets today.
Thanks,
