Very pleased with this tour. There were 7 of us (4 adults and 3 teens) in our party and 9 tour participants overall. This was our first time in Nashville. We sampled 5 different culinary delights (hot chicken from Princes, Donuts from Donut Distillery, BBQ from Jacks, a Bushwacker drink at local bar (non-alcoholic option provided for the teens), and chocolate candy at Goo Goo Clusters). The food was tasty and plentiful and many in our group are big eaters. For that reason we were glad we had opportunity to walk it off rather than it being a bus tour. Our tour guide Scott was a fantastic storyteller. He was punctual, very friendly and knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about the music, history and food of the city. His love for his job was very apparent. The fact that he was from the area and a musician was beneficial. The only issue I had was that the tour was advertised as a 3-hour tour. Maybe it was because we were a smaller group (9 vs a max of 30) but our tour only took 2 hours. Even so, I would highly recommend this tour.

I took this walking tour as an activity offered during a business trip. Our tour guide, Kristi Hope, was outstanding. She was warm, super knowledgeable, shared all kinds of history, fun facts, sites, delicious food, etc. giving us a true taste of Nashville’s Broadway district. We ate at 4 different spots, trying out hot chicken, Donut Distillery donuts, BBQ, chili, adult milkshakes, and pralines. We were definitely full by the end of the tour and everything was delicious! My husband, who didn’t go on the tour, was really impressed with all that I had learned about Nashville from Kristi. I would definitely recommend this!

While the food was very good, Scott was GREAT. Behind the scenes hints, historical asides, stories of the personalities that gave birth to country music, Nashville insider notes, super insights to the honkytonks, and etiquette guidelines. Be sure to make this part of your plans and ask for Scott.

We took a tour with a tour person by the name of Red for the walk food tasting tour we paid $158 for two people. Our booking reference number is BR-789405346 and the operation number is 64170833.
We were supposed to do a 3hour tour, but it was barely 1 hour 20 or 30 minutes. We went to the breakfast place they served us a chicken sandwich which was fine. The second location served us burnt fried green tomatoes, and mayonnaise based devil eggs, and it tasted like old grease even the other people in our group agreed. There was lots of walking and talking by a lady that presented herself as Red! We informed her that the fried green tomatoes weren’t acceptable but she just said thanks for letting her know. On the advertisement mentioned bar b que, but per Red we weren’t allowed to do the bar b que because their closed on Monday, and that we weren’t doing the original tour due to the restaurants you normally go to are also closed on Monday. Why advertise it and not let the customer know. On the second stop my daughter didn’t eat because the friend green tomatoes didn’t taste good and the devil eggs were made with too much mayo. Red did allow my daughter to order cheese dip and chips at the last stop. This was not worth $73 per person. We weren’t full as your advertisement said none of us were, because all we really got was the chicken sandwich we didn’t eat anything else. We all actually went to a restaurant to get food when the tour was over due to being hungry, I had to spen $47 for lunch since we didn’t eat on the tour. We couldn’t eat the food at the second restaurant, and the last stop was just a drink no food. I’m needing a refund due to false advertisement and in edible food. We went to one restaurant that morning far off Broadway, the two places we stopped on Broadway was not satisfying and you get one piece of candy at the candy shop. This isn’t what was expected at all. If you’re unable to assist with the refund I will contact the back to let them know, the full service was not rendered. I hope we can come to some type of agreement. I’m not asking for a full refund but a refund of some sort of percentage amount. Your advertisement says 3hrs, if your normal eating spots are closed on Monday don’t do a tour,or charge less.
Thank you
Tabatha Pritchett

Hi Tabatha, Thank you again for your feedback. We apologize that we weren't able to provide the typical tour for you yesterday, due to some unannounced closures due to the holiday and Covid situations. We have not been offering downtown tours on Mondays, but wrongly understood that our typical partners would be open yesterday because of the holiday. We clearly failed you, and as we mentioned in yesterday's email to you, we are most happy to fully refund your payment with our apologies. We hope to have a chance to share a better experience with you in the future.

In a city’s which you have your choice of tours I would never choose this one. We booked this tour several weeks in advance for a Saturday morning, which is a popular time for tours. Because it was rainy and with threatening weather they canceled on us the night before (Less than 12 hours in advance). The only accommodation they made was to offer us seats on their bus tour however the bus tour began far away from our hotel and we had no car. They did not offer any accommodation for this. We did get our money back, however, it was too late to book another tour for that day. We suggested that they pay for an Uber for us to catch up with their bus tour, which would have cost them less than $10. They refused. For a $70 tour, there should be a profit to accommodate your customers and prevent disappointment.

My family of five, wife and three daughters, ages 17, 20, and 22, took the food and beverage tour in Nashville. Scott was our tour guide. He was great, our entire family enjoyed the conversations and his enthusiasm about Nashville and the music history of this City, and restaurants to visit during your stay. Plus the restaurants we toured were fantastic, great food and the last restaurant we were at was the Johnny Cash's Kitchen and Saloon, where we were able to go upstairs to the second floor for a private tour, the stained glass was amazing. One note, we should have have made the appointment for earlier in our stay, as we got to see so many things that we wish we would've known about, prior to our last day in Nashville. We would highly recommend this tour and Scott as your guide!

Thoroughly enjoyed hearing the history of Music City as we sampled foods that make Nashville great. This was my husband's 70th birthday gift from our children. Even though we're locals, we were surprised at what all we learned from Scott -- he's an awesome guide. Highly recommend this tour!

This tour was our favorite event while visiting Nashville. Fun, tremendous “big” bites, and so informative. Scott, our guide, was knowledgeable on all things music and history.. and being a musician himself, he sang and added fun tidbits along with walk. This is a must do!

My wife and I had the good fortune of being the only two in our guide Kurt's tour earlier today. As others have said, he was an encyclopedia of Nashville knowledge and the food was to die for. Forever a fan of Prince's and the info about Willie Nelson and his occasional staggers back from Tootsie's Orchid Lounge were sublime. We highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn loads about the Lower Broadway neighborhood as well as fill up on some eclectic eats. What's your favorite doughnut from the Donut Distillery?

They cancelled the event due to Covid and we lost 100 percent of the money. Then I told them I would contact my credit card for a refund but they just kept sending emails over the next 18 months saying you can rebook but we need to wait from a response from the tour operator. Over 25 emails saying the same thing.

I don't think so. We had a person in our group that had a problem with spicy things and our guide called ahead to one of our stops for a substitution.
