Overview

What to Expect
This Civil War and plantation tour begins with a pickup from your Nashville hotel. Board a climate-controlled vehicle, and enjoy the ride to Franklin, which is about 30 minutes away.

Your first stops in Franklin are at the Lotz House and Carter House. Hear stories behind both Civil War-era attractions, and listen as your guide tells you about the Battle of Franklin.

Civil War Platation

We enjoyed it. We did a lot of walking and learned quite a bit. It is not too far from downtown. It was a hot day outside at the time. we would probably enjoyed it better in the Fall.

The bus was small and only had capacity for maybe 15 people. There was only 6 of us on the tour. We went Memorial Day week.
