    Great tour
We had a great time. Fay was a fabulous storyteller and knew how to keep us entertained. So much food- we didn’t need dinner afterwards. The cocktails were lovely as well-the last stop was the highlight of the trip. Highly recommend

Awesome fun and entertainment with a dash of education.
An excellent evening of food, drink and laughter. I learned more about the city from our tour guide, Faye, then I had learned in 22 years of living here. She was awesome. My date and I both live here in the Greenville area. All other participants were from elsewhere. What a great way to meet new people and make new friends. Our entire group stayed together for at least 2 hours after the event was over. A great evening with new friends.

Great way to learn about Greenville downtown history
What better way to learn about the history of downtown Greenville and eat breakfast at the same time. Faye was an excellent storyteller and knew much about Greenville. Her world of experience brought a unique perspective to learn and explore Greenville’s past. The breakfast choices were varied and very tasty. We’ll be sure to go back for more breakfast. Thanks Faye.

    Open Sesame.
This was a great local experience and very much worth it in terms of value. Both the drinks and appetizers were ample, including shrimp and grits, crepes, empanadas, and some version of bacon but not pork belly. Our guide, Faye, had a ton of history to offer and knew a lot about each owner and the restaurant. The last stop—a hidden speakeasy with a passcode and a moving bookcase to enter was a real treat. Superb for our first visit to Greenville.

Fun time visiting restaurants and learning about the city
We enjoyed our time touring the three restaurants and one speakeasy. I recommend if you’d like to learn a little bit about the city and enjoy good cocktails and appetizers. Several of the places had live music which was also nice.

    Very happy with this tour
Faye was an awesome tour guide, very knowledgeable and passionate about Greenville history. The drinks at each restaurant were very good especially the last one at the speakeasy, however that was our least favorite food pairing. The food was also very good and filling so you won’t likely be hungry at the end of the tour. We are very happy we booked this tour.

    An Enjoyable Tour!
The experience, itself, was wonderful! Faye is very warm, welcoming, professional, and knowledgeable about the history of Downtown Greenville. She captivated and maintained the attention of all members of the tour with interesting stories about Downtown Greenville. Food at the three restaurants that we visited was delicious and the portions were very ample. Servers and staff at the restaurants were warm, welcoming and helpful. This tour is Fantastic!!! I will recommend it to family and friends.

Imbibing ; Edibles and A LOT of Information !
OK, this was a BLAST ! Foothill Foodies hit a home run with this tour. It was special because of our leader, Faye. She was a fountain of knowledge and was able to impart it with a sense of humor and energy. She had cautioned us that, "Nobody will leave this tour hungry." Well, filled to the gills is more like it ! Each eatery provided us with an alcoholic beverage and a FULL appetizer. Water was available but, why would you do that? The food was delicious ( I particularly enjoyed the crepe and the empanada) and plans to supplement the appetizers after noshing were dashed like the SS Edmund Fitzgerald. There is a particular element of the tour that is beyond cool but I won't ruin the surprise. Annoyed? See if you can DECIPHER THIS CLUE, "IZZY and MOE."

Best Food and Cocktail Tour in Greenville, SC!
This was one of the BEST food and cocktail tours we've ever been on. Fay was amazing! She was friendly and knowledgeable. Fay had some fun and educational facts about Greenville, SC. This tour did not give you a taste or a sip, you were given a very generous portion of the food and a full size cocktail! We were visiting from out of town and can't wait to take our family and friends on this awesome tour! Thanks again Fay, you made the experience the memorable.

We had a great time eating delicious desserts and cocktails while learning fascinating history about Greenville. Faye gave us a recommendation for dinner, and it did not disappoint. If you go as a couple, our advice is to share one and doggie bag the other. We had dessert again later!

Being able to learn about Greenville history and partake in fabulous deserts in unique restaurants was wonderful. Our guide Faye shepherded our group of 4 for a 2 hour walk. She had deep knowledge of the downtown area. All in all a great tour!

A very good experience. The desserts were very good and the conversation with the tour guide was even better. The experience would have earned an Excellent if there had been a wider variety of desserts offered across a broader area of downtown.

It was a wonderful time. The tastings were full size desserts, we had a chocolate martini in one stop. We learned a lot of Greenville history from our guide Faye. She truly was one of the best guides we have ever had, and we have done a number of food tours in different cities. Highly recommend!

This was a fun, easy-going and delicious way to experience Greenville! Our tour guide Faye was fantastic. She was an excellent storyteller and historian. And the restaurants we went to were fantastic: Spoonbread, Maestro, and Bon Jour. We love visiting Greenville and can't wait to come back and try a different tour!

The Greenville Dessert Tour was an amazing adventure. This event was a birthday gift from my daughter who lives in another state. We have lived in the Greenville area for 6 years and didn’t know about this tour. Our guide, Hannah, was fabulous in not only guiding us to 4 different restaurants for a yummy dessert, she also shared history about Greenville. This was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon.

Our hosts were knowledgeable and very enthusiastic. They prepared us for each stop and as we walked, they pointed out some features of the city + some of the background of several famous residents like Shoeless Joe Jackson and a former Mayor Max Heller, who focused on the downtown revitalization--what a difference he made.

Our 1st stop was most amazing and most memorable at Le Petit Croissant, as we had the opportunity to meet the Chef/Owner & Chocolatier, who was trained in France. The dessert was fantastic!

Mary's Cottage had a nice dessert and a great view, and we returned the next day for breakfast. We finished our tour at Larkin's and we were not disappointed, and even met one of the senior executives.

We did not have the opportunity to stop at Foxcroft Wines, as they had another event planned. Unfortunately, nothing was offered in its place.

Sometimes our hosts went into a little too much detail about Greenville and all the changes that have happened and how affordability is becoming a challenge. For residents, these are great discussion points.
