- bcbirnbaum00Charleston harbor boatBoat was fine. Hard to hear the guide. What we could hear was some interesting and some fairly boring. couldn't always tell where to look for the sites.
- E3438YFrons00Great way to start your Charleston TripWe took this trip the evening we arrived for the sunset cruise. timing was perfect for sunset, got some great pictures. Nice to be on the water, and get a feel for Charleston, and the port area.
- S865ZGnataliek00Nice historical relaxing cruiseCruise was very nice. Started with great customer service; I struggle with MS and they were very helpful waiting for me to board the boat. This was my mom first time on any boat she thoroughly enjoyed it and so did we as a group.
- 27Traveler202300Historical city and architectural tourWonderful experience learning the history of Charleston, it’s people, government and churches, hurricanes, fires and earthquakes!
- wickedwandora6600Don’t bring anyone in a wheelchairWhat a terrible experience we had. My mother was in a wheelchair and there was no place allotted for it. We all had to stand on the side of the boat that didn’t show any of the sites. The captain barely talked about anything. If you sat downstairs, you could barely hear. The staff at the snack bar were rude.
- abrice300Dinner Cruise was cancelled due to weather. 😡So sorry dinner cruise was cancelled due to weather. I am sure it would have been wonderful. Maybe we can try again next year. We loved Charleston and had a great time.
- dnowack2900My FavoriteBeautiful view of the Charleston Harbor with great insight provided by the boat captain. The staff were very helpful and the boat was enjoyable. By far this was my favorite time in Charleston !!
- Mistie A00Such a Wonderful Time!We loved the sunset cruise! The crew aboard were so nice! The history shared from the captain was great! I loved seeing all the beautiful sites around Charleston!
- Jonathan B00Good Harbor TourGood narration on sites. Recommend doing first tour of the day as subsequent tour left late. Arrive early to get a spot on the top deck. Heard from passengers on lower deck that visibility was limited due to the color of the glass.
- Tinawebster202300Awesome!My group of 15 high school students had an amazing time! Everything was great and the service was awesome. Highly recommend!
- martybooks100BeachCoveResortGreat facility, had a gret time and facilities were wonderful! Facility was right on the beach and had several pools and hot tubs. the restrant that we ate at was also very good.
- dsmanes00Never a bad day for a boat rideThe sights from the boat and the narration by the captain were excellent and interesting. 90 fun minutes of history, pirates, colonists and the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, and the founding of and the continuing development of Charleston were all included. Very comfortable, enjoyed the snack and bar bar. Definitely recommend.
- paully121200Great tour of the Charleston harborHad a great time on this tour of the Charleston harbor. The captain was knowledgeable and entertaining, and we had a great view of all the sights from the fore deck.
- addelgado4900Fun harbor tour!Great friendly tour with lots of good information ! Everyone was very nice and hospitable ! I would recommend this tour!
- calliemcclain100Wonderful experience!!The whole crew was wonderful, the captain had us laughing the whole time and he informed us about all the history in the area! We loved it and highly recommended everyone take a boat tour when in Charleston!

Nice ride seeing things that we will want to put on our list to visit yet. It was difficult to hear everything that was said at times. But the knowledge base was outstanding

It’s a nice ride in a kinda big circle … and they call out different t historical things . The crew is awesome but the facts for me kinda not so exciting. We did have about 8 dolphins off the bow & that made it worth it.

It was nice to be on the water to beat the heat, but not a lot to see. I think I would do something different next time.

Sorry to say the trip was really boring....basically just a boat ride with very few sights and history...the only thing we passed of any interest was Fort Sumter.

We sat on the lower deck which was nice. Most of the sights were on the right side of the boat. It was a leisurely cruise. The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 was the tour guide was a little hard to understand sometimes.

The 1:30 tour was very hot, but we still enjoyed the cruise. Need to buy tickets at least a day ahead. The cooler time slots fill up fast.

The cruise and crew were fabulous. My only regret is that we sat on the left side of the boat thinking we would return the same way we went out and see all the same thing the right side of the boat say. Not the case. Everything was on the right side of the boat and we never went back by the same things. Very interesting history and views you could only see from the water. Our mistake, but I wish one of the crew had mentioned switching to the right side.

Where do I catch this cruise

The Charleston Maritime Center on Wharf Street. It's a little tricky to find due to construction nearby, plus there is no parking in the large gravel parking lot, you have to park on the street.
Plus, there are bathrooms on the second floor, but for some reason whomever is in the ticket office/gift shop won't tell you about them, instead sending you down to the Fort Sumter Museum to the bathrooms there.
As annoying as that is, it's still a nice boat ride, and can be combined with a Palmetto Carridge Works carriage tour.
Have fun :)

If it is raining at the time of the cruise will I be notified that the cruise is cancelled and will I receive a refund on my credit card?
Ty H

Nope. You go out in the rain. There is covered spaces and an indoor cabin area. There were only five or six couples on our cruise.
