Very lovely informative and gentle cruise. Lots of birds see and learn about. Four course lunch of seafood and salad was delicious.
Relaxing sightseeing cruise through the Tweed Valley
Stop in the heart of the valley for a seafood tasting platter
Enjoy Australian wine during the cruise
See an ancient volcano from the Tweed River during this half-day, guided, cruise that runs through the Tweed Valley and includes lunch. Take your place on the boat and head toward Mount Warning (Wollumbin), a looming remnant of a massive volcano said to have erupted 23-million years ago. Sip wine onboard as the natural world passes by and stop at a riverside café for a seafood lunch.
Experience the natural beauty of the Tweed Valley with Mount Warning Tours, on the Spirit of Wollumbin, a traditional Huon Pine River ferry. You will glide slowly upstream on the majestic Tweed River whilst taking in the mountain views and enjoying a glass of Australian wine.
Beautiful Wollumbin Mount Warning, the heart of an ancient volcano, is best seen from the vantage point of the Tweed Valley waterways. The Tweed River that runs through the heart of the valley, links Murwillumbah’s Heritage Trail, galleries, museum, studios, cafes and coffee shops with the Tumbulgum Heritage Trail at the historical meeting place of the waters.
Plus, enjoy a one hour lunch or dinner, with a local seafood tasting platter for two at a riverside cafe after the tour.
Whether you’re local or visiting, there is no better way to experience the Tweed than on a Tweed River cruise.

Brilliant! Just did it today. Exceptionally well informed cruise. Not just a glass of wine provided but also more on offer. Including soft drinks. And just finished the excellent seafood lunch across the road (House of Gabriel). Well worth it.
