Oregon Coast Tour from Portland
Explore Oregon’s rocky northern coastline on this scenic full-day trip from Portland. Travel the picturesque US Hwy 101 through quaint beach towns, stopping in Cannon Beach, Ecola State Park, Manzanita, and Oswald West State Park. Spend a luxurious day enjoying panoramic coastal views, geological wonders, and wind-swept beaches.
What to Expect
Your luxury mini-coach departs bright and early from an area near Director Park in downtown Portland.

Your first stop is at Ecola State Park, where you can take in stunning views of the Oregon coastline.

Next up is Cannon Beach. Upon arrival, head to Haystack rock, an enormous monolith that earned fame in the film The Goonies. Walk all the way to Haystack’s base (if the tide is out), explore tide pools and glimpse scurrying sea creatures. Enjoy lunch (own expense) in the town of Cannon Beach at your preferred local eatery.

After lunch, reboard your mini-coach for a southbound tour along the famous coastal US Highway 101. Along the way, explore the unique beauty of the Oregon coast and stop at beautiful beaches along the way. Stop at breathtaking scenic overlooks, admire the Pacific Ocean as it crashes along the cliffs, and visit other small towns that dot the coastline. Upon arriving at the Neahkahnie Overlook, keep a look out for gray whales while gazing out into Tillamook Bay.

Continue south until you reach the small town of Manzanita. You can wander the beach, shop for treasures on Laneda Avenue, or relax with a cup of coffee.

Afterward, one of your last stops is at Oswald West State Park.

Your tour concludes back at the starting point, in downtown Portland.

Could be 5/5 with a couple of minor tweaks

Upon booking a little vacation to Portland we realized four days in the city of Portland itself might actually be too much time there. So what did we do? Channel our inner tourist and sign up for a tour! We picked Wildwood because of all...More

Beautiful Oregon Coast Tour

I highly recommend visiting the Oregon Coast!! It is simply beautiful and great for photography. The tour guide, Malloy, was excellent and made the tour fun and interesting. The van was quite comfortable, and the drive to and from the coast was relaxing and scenic.

Sorry there is no time do hikes at any of the parks. I would say we were only there for about 30 minutes max. Remember, These tours are to give you a taste of the coast.

Hi, the tour was about 8 hours. It was nice as it was multiple stops so it didn't feel like you were riding in a van all day. Andy was very conscience of the time and had us all back in Portland at 5:00 p.m.
