Great way to explore the city while enjoying some local brews!
Sep 2021 • Couples
We are first timers in Portland and are so glad we did this tour. There were six of my family members and another couple on our tour and the feeling was unanimous among us.

I would recommend to anyone visiting to start with a guided bike tour, just to scope things out and make notes of places to visit later. We visited several breweries and tasted many nice beers. Our tour guide (Todd) was great. He was very patient with everyone and gave us a lot of history as we road around. He also helped us with restaurant recommendations as well as with other local activities.

After our bike ride we went right back to same neighborhoods to try more beers and to check out the restaurants.

Thanks for the memories!

Oktoberfest on wheels
Sep 2021
We had a great bike ride thru the city with perfect fall weather. Our own private Oktoberfest. We really enjoyed the Function PDX pop-up Tap Room featuring Ferment Brewing. Their saison is fantastic. Our final stop also had great rooftop views of the soccer stadium. The houselessness issue is troubling. While it did not directly effect our ride we hope the city can work together to find housing for everyone.

Great tour in a troubled city
Aug 2021 • Couples
The brewery tour was well run. Our guide was excellent. The places we stopped at were fun and gave us time to visit with the other people on the tour. Unfortunately as of August 2021 when this review was written, the city of Portland is one I would not step foot in again. The homeless population has taken over and we passed by tents and tarps on almost every street. We had planned to go back into the city to spend time the next day but because we were so disturbed by the homeless population we made plans to do some thing else. My husband and I live in one of the rougher cities in the country so things like graffiti and homeless people are not uncommon but it’s out of control in Portland. The bike tour was great and I wish the owners all the best. I’m hoping they can continue to do business even with the city in such poor condition.

More bike than beer
Aug 2021 • Couples
The tour was good. The cycle around Portland was so much fun.

We didn’t get the pint at the end however (I challenged this and the guide stated that they never give out a pint at the end) and we shared 2 beer flights between 7 of us which didn’t feel good value for money.

Overall, great way to see the city, just expect to be a little thirsty

So sorry, we had a new guide and he misunderstood the beer allotment. We usually give a tasting tray for each couple per stop rounded up, close to double that amount. On many tours, I have had people refuse the last round because they've had enough! We discontinued the ending pint during 2020 because we had so few tours, and it wasn't universally appreciated even in the best years. We have removed that info from the Tripadvisor description. -Scotland

A real taste of Portland
Dec 2020 • Couples
The highlight of our quick weekend trip was this Tour with our guide Scotland on a misty Portland afternoon. So much history and information paired with some seriously delicious brews! Worth every penny! We got a real taste of Portland. Hope to visit again and try another Tour in the future! Thanks from Diana and Colette 😊
