We travelled from Queenstown to Dubbil Barrel and back, An amazing journey! The history was brought to life by railway staff, video and informative photo boards along the route. We could see the struggles of the workers as they cut their was through impenetrable rainforest. Gold

Thank you kindly for this positive review from your Rack and Gorge journey with us, we are so very pleased to read that you had a memorable experience on board. Thank you for your kind feedback, unfortunately the need to run a morning journey from one end of the line is so that we can run an afternoon journey from the other end without overlapping trains on our single line. We do apologise for the need of your early morning, especially on holidays however we are very grateful that you could join us on board for an adventure. It was a pleasure! Additional - the lunch on board is delicious if you are able to return to visit us in the future :)
