About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 94tomasb0 contributionsGarbageAs a European, I was very annoyed by the garbage everywhere. I would say garbage from large flows of tourists, but when you see abandoned rusty baths near the town of Oia, it just "kills" you to continue admiring the town. I won't even bother about other rubbish. Don't be angry locals but you are unclean :(, you want to be Europeans but you act like Africans.Written September 17, 2024
- janaye f0 contributionsA little pricey but a nice dayA long day trip but if you wanna see it it’s good. The bus trips weren’t long but the ferry was a killer. Guide was nice enough and had information about the island. It was French and English so half the time he spoke French. The island itself was lovely I wish we had more time there, I’d recommend staying on Santorini but if it’s a time restraint this is not badWritten September 17, 2024
- Climber642226567700 contributionsSpinalonga...Read the book about The island and was lucky to visit,,wonderful day trip with a swim and barbecue,,very knowledgeable and informative guide ,, amazing views,,a must when visiting this part of Crete.Written September 15, 2024
- M6506WLstephenf0 contributionsDisappointedGuide was hard to understand. Not really a tour. You got dropped off in Oia and Thira and basically told where the sights are. Too many people!! Check the cruise schedule to see how many ships are in the harbor the day you goWritten September 10, 2024
- LoopyNana0 contributionsSoula is the BEST!The trip we did was just to Knossos and then Heraklion. The tour guide we had was Soula. She was amazing and obviously so passionate about sharing her knowledge. Best tour guide that we have had with our trips booked through you.Written September 10, 2024
- 713tammya0 contributionsNot worth the moneyI'm really sorry to say but honestly not worth the money. The first two stops are nothing to write home about; there are far more impressive caves in many other parts of the world and the olive shop takes 5min to explain how soap is made and olive oil - no history or how it used to be made in the past. Really disappointing. Rather spend the day at the beach - that won't disappoint.Written September 8, 2024
- Venture6283070 contributionsGreat eight hours of touring, views, water, and history!Excellent all-around. Yanni our tour Director was amazing. What a great bank for your back, can’t ask for anything better!Written September 4, 2024
- morgane15150 contributionsperfect day trip to discover more of crete!!I went with my mother on Sunday (23 and 47) and we had the best time, this is my second time doing this trip and unfortunately I just didn't catch our tour guides name but she's been my guide for both occasions and she's just the best! She is the queen of languages and the information she provides is really interesting! The trip itself was really well organised with pick up from the hotel along with enough time to stop at both the gortys and matala beach. It was really a fun day out with stunning views even on the bus and both the archeological site and the beach provide a good balance of learning and just relaxation!! As I said this was my second time going so you definitely have my praise thank you guys ❤️Written September 3, 2024
- clarej7240 contributionsKnossos and town tourPick up from hotels was well organised and the trip to the palace was good- our guide was really knowledgeable. You get ear pieces to wear so you can move to shadier areas or away from the group a bit and still hear what she was saying. The town tour was brief but interesting and we enjoyed having time to sit down for a cold drink and then wander the market and shopping areas.Written September 3, 2024
- Megan M0 contributionsGood excursion with some improvements neededPick up available close/at hotel, tour guide was well informed of historic places as travelling through to Agios. The boat however was VERY overcrowded by different pick ups. At Spinalonga we was with a guide to inform us about the history of the fortress, however once this tour finished we wasn’t left with much time to fully explore the area, it would of been nice to have enough time to go to the top of the viewpoint. Kolokytha bay was lovely but small, you’re able to jump off the boat and had approximately an hour to view the area and swim. The boat docks at quite a rocky area so suitable footwear is advised and definitely watch out for sea urchins. There is a beach further along however. The lunch offered wasn’t much to be desired but was okay for the price considering. There is a vegetarian option (wrap) and the food for non veggies was a chicken leg with 2 pieces of bread and cabbage with a piece of fruit. Snacks/drinks were available on the boat (additional cost). Agios Nikolaos was a lovely area with plenty to explore - unfortunately it did rain which was a big shock for locals! Overall for the cost it’s okay, and was a good excursion experience. To improve I’d say it would be good to allow more time to really explore the places included in the cruise as it felt rushed and lot of the time.Written September 1, 2024
- Pascho19720 contributionsGreat day outThis was a good excursion as we got the opportunity to learn so much about Greece's rich history from our wonderful tour guide. Got to swim in the beautiful blue sea and explore other islands. It was great!!Written August 28, 2024
- U7450BJauroras0 contributionsVERY BAD EXPERIENCE! Not suggestedVERY BAD experience! We decided to book the tour from Agios Nikolaos to Spinalonga. We arrived in Spinalonga by boat (too overcrowed) and had to do the ticket for the visit on the island (which was ok because we knew it was not included in the price). The pity is that the guide did not wait for us and other 4 people while in queue so she started the tour and we were left alone on the island!! She put a lot of stress and pressure on people for the timing but we couldn't skip the queue so she said she did not care at all about us because is not her business!!! Then they promised a barbecue on the beach which we never did! They basically served a single chicken leg with a small piece of cheese and a slice of bread on the boat. Everything served on a sad tray on the boat and not on the beach. We did not enjoy the tour at all. I do not suggest to go with this tour as the guide is very very rude and stressed and they promise you something you will never experience.Written August 23, 2024
- lhlh20040 contributionsWorst excursion I have been on13 HOURS !!!!! Mostly on a red hot crowded coach Tour guide not good, rushing us constantly Nothing worth travelling all that way for Out of 13 hours maybe off coach 5 hours No Lunch provided Yes preveli was pretty but by that time we were over it,just crowded into run down cafe and waited 40 mins to get some fries because children were starving by this time,so many people and 2 toilets WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND DOING THIS TOURWritten August 20, 2024
- lhlh20040 contributionsExcellentLOVED this,our guide was amazing,so much knowledge,never rushed us,he was brilliant,plenty to see,lunch lovely on the boat,would highly recommend thisWritten August 20, 2024
- Gareth M0 contributionsNot Quite as AdvertisedFirst off, to me I read the itinerary as saying that it will take 30 minutes to travel from Heraklion to the event. Though it does say this can vary depending on how many people you are picking up and traffic, I still would expect it to be within the 30-60 minute range. It took us over 2 hours our bus to get there from our hotel in Heraklion. And about 1 and 45 minutes to get back. So if you’re thinking of doing this and you’re coming from Heraklion you need to consider whether this is worth it. That said, for us it was worth it in the end. Upon arrival, after a short sit down, we started the workshops. This is advertised to last 1 hour 30 minutes. It lasted us around 45 minutes. About 10-15 minutes at the soap and honey section and then about 20 minutes at the olive oil station. There was no raki station as advertised and no explanation given as to why not. Each one we did was interesting enough. There was also no wine tasting as advertised. There were two bottles of wine on the table but that’s not really wine tasting. There was no lesson on the production of the wine as advertised. And again no explanation as to why this wasn’t happening. The food was fantastic though. A nice selection of Greek food. Now where things really came to life was when the dancing started. They put on a great show but what really made it great was when we could all join in. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this. There are also a few surprises along the way which I won’t spoil. So, for us at least, we had a great night. However, if you want what is advertised then you might be sorely disappointed. Especially if you have to spend 4 hours on a bus. If you’re staying closer to the venue then travel time will be shorter. So if you’re like us and you like a good food and a dance then you might think it’s worth it. If not then I would give it a miss as the experience is lacking in most other areas. The event starts at 7pm and finishes at 11pm.Written August 17, 2024

The travel to and from the venues was planned well except if you were the early pickups, this made the trip into quite a long day. However the venues of Chania and Rethymo were splendid and culturally rich in architecture, history and ambience. The lake was OK, but the food and pricing at the recommended Taverna was excellent. Good trip

So this tour would be nice if it wasn't for the long way by bus. Chania was beautiful. Rethymon was fine too . Kournas Lake is something what they could take off this tour. But in my eyes the tour guide was not what I expected I sign up for ENGLISH tour, and I foudn myself in ENGLISH GERMAN tour . Where tour guide a lady sorry I don't remember her name was speaking fluent English and German but it was poorly executed. I felt like listening to the book reading, more than being interested in real life there. She was jumping from one language to another, in the middle of the story, so no one except German tourists were getting full story at one time. She was prone to them, the English version you could say was much shorter . She even got mad at people when they started talking, because when you switch languages this is what you get, when the part of the bus doesn't understand that language. The tour was on 21 of October. I would recommend to visit Chania and Rethymon they interesting cities but going on the bus without AC or poor AC in hot temperatures is not what I've had in mind, and not the tour guide who didn't care about English speaking people, or even telling people to stop talking when she was switching the language. Even though they weren't loud at all, but they for sure were bored like me. This tour in the right weather, and with the right tour guide might have been great. To all prepare for long ride on the bus. But it is worth to see CHANIA and RETHYMON.

A long day due to all the pick ups and drop offs. However, very glad we did it. The driver and guide were excellent. We particularly liked Chania.

A great way to see Chania and Rethymnon in a day without having to rent a car or worry about driving. Rated 3 stars as you must be aware of the “air conditioned bus”. Air conditioning only works while the bus is en route (I.e. moving) and takes a while to stabilize. It’s never cool or cold and tremendously hot when boarding at each stop along the way.

A day full of discovery of the beautiful towns of Crete Chania, Rethymon and Lake Kournas. A fascinating guide, who introduced us to the culture, history, and richness of her country. Thank you for this beautiful day of excursion which I really enjoyed, I have very good memories of it.
