I was awe struck. Pilot was very informative pointing out the sights. Pictures do no justice to seeing Vegas and the Grand Canyon from the air.

        Jaw Dropping Adventure
We were in awe of the majestic scenery from the helicopter of the Grand Canyon , a once in a lifetime vision that can be seen closely in this wonderful transport . The Kayak tour to Black Canyon was an active and fun addition to our ride; we were on kayaks for 3 + hours , and we stopped a few times for snacks and took beautiful scenic photos. We loved our guide , Jamaica ! The reservation people at 5 Star Helicopter were on top of changes , communicated well and made sure several times by email , phone call and text that you’re kept up to date and informed . Everything was very well coordinated and organized . I have no complaints ! Each of us had a mini lunch insulated bag filled with a sandwich of our choice, drink , and snacks ; Foods had Einstein bagels wrappings. Delicious ! It was a nice change from casinos, clubs , concerts, and shows when in Vegas . I’m so happy we finally ventured out of our norm and added new experiences .

        helicopter experience is pretty nice
The viewing and first time helicopter experience is great. The staff are friendly and affable. The overall experience is pretty good. I liked the view from top but would still recommend an up close view when we drove up better.

        Trip of a lifetime
William was our pilot, he was awesome, I was a little nervous but his informative, professional friendly nature put me at ease . We certainly got value for money , great views commentary and plenty of time in the air . My husband has had plenty of flights but really rated this experience 😄

        Grand Canyon Helicopter experience
The whole experience was amazing and definitely worth doing. West Rim air tours were great. Constantly in communication from the day prior of our flight to collecting us from our hotel. The pilot of the flight was great too. Giving us constant information about lake Mead, the hoover dam and the Canyon itself. 5 stars all the way.

A day to remember for the rest of my life!
Wow! Worth every penny! I booked the trip before we left the UK for me and two mates although one of them really didn’t want to do it as he has a proper fear of flying in planes let alone a helicopter and we had to constantly try and talk him into it, right up to the last minute we thought he would pull out. Straight away I could tell our pilot Dalton was the right man to get him in that helicopter, he was calm with a great sense of humour that started to put my mate at ease. The look of fear in my mates face as we went up priceless and I thought he was going to reach for the sick bag but didn’t. He was sitting next to the pilot and soon had a smile on his face taking videos and photos! Amazing views and flight!! The whole staff team were friendly and professional and we were picked up and dropped off back where we started. We only had one little panic finding the pick up location as it was at a different hotel and a bit more detail would have been helpful, but a quick phone call to 5 Star soon put us in the right place! Total recommended and great value for money!!

90-min tour of the Grand Canyon West Rim
A must do! Knowledgable pilot, told us exactly what to do before, how to embark, good history of the area. A 90-minutes tour of the West Rim. Long enough to remain very interested, not too short so that we saw plenty of nice things, several "wow" from the visitors. Choppers are a bit small though for 6 people + the pilot. In ours, we were 3 X 230-lbs guys on the rear seats plus my spouse, and we were tight. But the helicopters looked in great shape, well-maintained. And just prior leaving ground, an experienced member looked around the 3 choppers and gave his ok to fly. Telling ya, it's a great experience. Before and after the tour, people at the counter are friendly too. Had a great time.

        Helicopter over Grand Canyon
Our pilot was amazing. She was knowledgeable about the Grand Canyon. I looked at plenty of trips to the canyon. This one stood out because of the length of time over the canyon instead of driving. The view was breathtaking.

If you’re in Vegas - do this!
This is the experience of a lifetime, enhanced by the very professional and efficient team at 5 Star for whom nothing was too much trouble. From the pick up at our hotel, through to check in, the safety briefing and the flight itself, 5 Star were faultless. “Highly recommended” seems insufficient to describe the whole experience!

I loved this tour…a part of that was because I was lucky enough to sit next to the pilot! It was a day with a wind warning, but the ride was smooth and the visibility was great!

        Grand Canyon helicopter tour
This was an amazing experience. The pilot provided a very safe and informative flight. The ride was smooth and the views were breathtaking. My wife is afraid of flying and I never thought she could do this. She was pleasantly surprised how smooth the trip was and said she would take a helicopter ride again. We left at sunrise and were back in time for a late breakfast. I choose this over a bus trip or driving. I’m glad I did, we saw so many views and our day wasn’t wasted traveling for hours. It was expensive but worth it.

no lights on the building so very hard to find at night. at check in i was weighed and told i was over the limit and had to pay for another seat , but that morning i was 9 lbs lighter than what i was told and the next day i was 8 lbs lighter than what i was told ?????? contacted 5 star and was told their scale was right, the other two are both wrong . i reminded them there were 2 empty seats on the flight but was told they moved them because of my weight but i wasnt weighed until 15 minutes before the flight. when i asked if people were moved at the check in i was told no. flight was cool but ended 4 minutes early which is 36% of the flight time. not happy over all. alos i was required to wear a mask but pilot didnt have one on .........

This was absolutely horrible and deceiving. Please read fine print. We had to ride in a vehicle with 2 additional couples which meant there was 7 people in a 2010 Escalade with no respect for COVID. None of the passengers knew one another and thought they would be sharing transportation to/from the helicopter tour and on the helicopter alone. The workers were not friendly very dry and rude. When you first arrive they do not take your temperature. They waiting until your already inside the building for about 20 minutes before checking anyone temperature. This was not due to weather even so there should be no delay to someone safety. Finally, I witnessed a guest with a disability fall off the helicopter as she exited. The workers did not help the person or show any care for the person incident or disability. There was no step later or considerate of ADA. The manager finally showed concern as another guest became extremely upset of the incident and other guest began to pull back their reservations.

Also, the tour was 10 minutes and the waiting was 1.5 hour.

This overall experience was horrible, please do not book. You will be disappointed and not have an enjoyable experience.

My husband and I just went to Vegas with a friend to celebrate New Year's.  My friend had never been there, so the night flight over the strip seemed like a great thing to do.  We scheduled for a 9pm flight.  I had originally booked dinner reservations for 6pm at Mr. Chow in Caesars.  We were staying at Mandalay Bay and were informed that the pickup time would be 7:45pm.  I cancelled my reservation because I was concerned about being back on time.  I could have had a leisurely dinner anywhere I wanted....  at 7:45pm, they called stating that traffic was bad and they would be there closer to 8pm.  No big deal.....but they never arrived until 8:45pm and then we had 2 other stops to make before going to the heliport.  By the time we got there and waited again, we did not get to our flight until after 10pm.
The ride was okay.  The pilot had nothing to say to us at all, though.  He made an announcement that we were going over the strip and that he would be talking to the tower until we were about to get back, when he would  talk to us again.  In our previous helicopter rides, the pilots have provided great information regarding the area and everything we were seeing.  This pilot seemed annoyed that he had to take the tourists up and down the strip.
After we got back, we got to wait again for 30 minutes for our ride back.  We were starving at this point and needed dinner.  At some point, we started out at 7:45pm and did not get dropped off until approximately 11:30pm.  This was not meant to be a 4 hour event.  We requested to be dropped off at Planet Hollywood as it was closer to where we wanted to eat, this was no problem.  When we got to Paris to drop other patrons off, we were highly encouraged to get out there and walk because it would be inconvenient to have to do a U-turn and get to the other hotel's entrance.  The "driver" continuously made excuses for the poor service and informed us that he was really the mechanic and had to pick up the driving slack d/t the traffic, which we never saw.  He was not the sole reason that things were amiss, but took zero responsibility and made sure to blame everyone else for the delays.  In my opinion, this is awful customer service and I opted not to tip at all, which is not something I do often. We have taken trip to the bottom of the grand canyon before and had no problems, though I cannot recall which company we rode with.  I will be sure to book with a different company for our next helicopter ride and all future rides.  I suggest that others do the same.

      Where do you start!
First our pick up time was given to us wrong after even confirming the flight they asked could we get there right away but had to be in 10 minutes to go on the flight or lose our money or we can rebook.
We rebooked canceling another adventure that was booked as we thought this was better peffft we were wrong.
Basically the helicopter goes all the way around to the left so if your on the right back hand corner all you see is the house lights or everyone’s heads phones and arms.
That’s ok if you weren’t charged the full price for seeing hardly anything.
Sorry but definitely people should know if they are going to be seated there if you get told your on 5-6 don’t bother going!!!
      Girls at the desk lovely.
But for the price and 9 minutes and 46 seconds I filmed from start on the tarmac to return to same spot so really not even what’s advertised.
      Such a shame!!!
We were told hold the camera on the window and press record lol
      Pictures of our flight!!!

Thank you for your feedback. The aircraft are configured with forward facing seating for panoramic views of the Las Vegas Strip. For the welfare and safety of passengers, the Strip helicopter flight follows an FAA approved and regulated flight route. The flight duration is advertised by Viator as 10-12 minutes including loading & uploading. We recommend that all passengers read Viator's important information regarding the tour they have booked.

It was very crowded. As a photographer, it was not ideal to be stuffed into the middle of the helicopter with two individuals on my left and one to the right with very little to no view of the city. Suppose your in that situation; you can forget about trying to take any useable shots. Just sit back and just enjoy the ride. For photos of the city, go on the high roller for a better experience.

I paid $199.98 to fly in a helicopter for 15 mins. We were picked up from a hotel and had about 10 other people get on the sprinter. Upon arrival, although there were requirements to wear masks, we had to sit in a waiting area unable to maintain social distancing. Once we got on the helicopter we were so close our legs touched other people. On top of that, we had to wear head seats with mics taped to them, but couldn’t speak thru them due to COVID-19. We were supposed to listen to the pilot with them. However, something I placed on top of my head and touched my ears (the headset) was not sanitized between passengers. The 15 min flight felt more like 5. Immediately after our flight they let the next 6 people on which means before we got on they did not sanitize our headsets either. Oh and let’s not forget the helicopter had no air conditioning whatsoever. My friend and I were disappointed. Never again, don’t waste your money.

We read the information on line noticed there was six seats, we have 5 in the group so we thought if we buy out the six seats we could enjoy the fly without sharing with a stranger. But nope! They arranged one of their employee to take our sixth seat without a heads up. She took her photos for the view and enjoined a nice flight for fee because we paid for. When I got off the helicopter I went spoke to the front desk. Their manager told me we had six in the group but one of us didn’t show up so it’s our problem. That’s not true! We filled up 6 names on the passengers list but one person’s name was duplicated didn’t she see it? Even if that’s the case they still not supposed to seat on that seat I purchased without a refund. Okay if they can have their employee to enjoy the free fly because of STUPID costumer already paid for it. Guess what? Bye Bye Forever this company.

However, as our company assigned an Employee to your flight for training purposes, we have approved a refund for the single seat. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.

They are great at picking you up. The flight was short, but a lot of fun. Good luck getting back to your hotel. You wait for a half an hour. They cram 25 people on a bus, then stop at a dozen hotels. It took us an hour and a half to get back after our flight was done.

Do not waste your money. They do not give you the trip you pay for. I paid for an 8:45 pm flight....they overbooked, and because I am a single flier, they bumped me off my flight!!! If they would have told me that they will change my flight as they wish, I definitely would NOT have booked with them!!!!

Annette, Thank you for your feedback and my apology for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Our staff takes pride in ensuring the safety and experience is enjoyed by all. Unfortunately, there are circumstances out of our control which can occur from time to time based on weight and balance. This happened to be the situation during your scheduled flight time. Please know that overbooking is not a practice we use. This flight was delayed solely due to safety concerns caused by the weight of the total passengers. We review every option to reassign seats so all guest may fly, however, delays may occur. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

The helicopter ride was excellent, but everything else a complete disaster. For a 15min ride I had to spend 3 hours waiting. Hotel pick up was efficient but once at the site (one hour before scheduled departure) we had to wait a couple of hours to get off the ground. Total chaos and no one seemed to be in control. Afterwards there was no interest from the company to care about return transportation. A bus was supposed to come, but after an hour waiting I took a taxi back. With competent organisers this would have been great.
