We took a 7 year old and an 11 year old. Both enjoyed the show. The food is good, but we were seated 30 minutes or longer before we were served. Dessert is served during intermission. The cast is energetic and there are opportunities for audience participation.

I gave this three stars for the food which was good. Not great, but good. Now for the show overall I would give a two star rating. Apparently they don't know squat about murder mystery dinner shows. I've been to a few and this is not one of them. If you want comedy, and singing, this is it at a mid level range. The theater is arranged like old school cafeteria style where you have long rows of tables with chairs close to each other. When you walk in they take your picture, give you your drink and take you to your assigned seats. The servers bring out plates of food which is BBQ, small chicken breast, scoop of rice, green beans, small corn on the cob, and dinner roll. Part of the show is about a birthday and at that point they give you a square pice of sheet cake. Bottom line is it worth the price? I got a discount for buying two shows through a online ticket seller. Given you get a meal and a show it is worth it for a evening out but don't expect it to be like other murder mystery shows

This is one of the Best Shows in Branson! Eat a late breakfast and skip lunch, seating starts at 3:20pm. Once seated you can start the buffet line. Our food, salad, with all the fixings, green beans, mashed potatoes, brown gravey or country gravey, mac n cheese, chicken and meatloaf. The bread was delicious, the unsweetened tea fabulous, and the dessert which I ate first was fantastic! The staff AWESOME, kind, respectful, talented, and funny! The show was great, we loved the audience participation. (Participate in the show you will not regret it!) The music was wonderful. Branson has been a trip my Mom has wanted to do forever and the happiness I got to see when Mom got to sing along to the Purple People Eater was a priceless gift you have given us. Actually she sang along to all the songs loud and proud! Please ignore the negative reviews they do not accurately represent the experience at the Majestic Theater! Not sure what got them twisted, but they have got it 100% wrong! 5 stars all the way! Trust me!

The meal was quick and plentiful. The staff was very friendly and got the food out efficiently. The show started great but it was loud and a 3-4 year-old a couple of seats down would scream every time the actors used their microphones and every time the crowd applauded or laughed. Everyone around kept turning and staring at the child but her family just didn't care and did absolutely nothing to quiet the child. Yes, it's a family event but 3z4 is just too young to be unsupervised. We left when we couldn't take it any more. A staff Member offered to seat us in the back of the theater where we would not have been able to see or hear anyhow. Sadly, none of the staff ever said anything to the family in spite of being aware how many other guests were upset at not being able to hear the show.

The show started about 20 minutes late, which I understand happens more than once. We were made to stand outside the theater while we waited rather than at least letting us come in an be seated. We have seen a LOT of shows in Branson and come here quite often. All the shows we have seen have always given tribute to the Veterans and other protection agencies who have given all to let us enjoy doing the things we love. Freedom is not free. We owe a lot to them and they think they're too good to at least take a moment to thank them. I think this says a lot about their own selves rather than what allows them to even have a show.

Very fun!! There were about twelve audience participation parts to be had by those who wished to volunteer. They give you hats and the scripts to go with your parts; some with more lines than others. I participated and it was super fun! Food was very good as well. Buffet style. We all ate pretty fast so they started the show about 50 minutes early giving them liberty to ad lib and not be rushed.

The show was a little funny but it was the same joke over and over. The food was horrible. They came around with buckets, scooped food out and dumped it on your plate. I get they were going for country rustic but I didn’t like it. The food was cold and consisted of a glob of mashed potatoes, wet, mushy pork, unseasoned, dry chicken breast and green beans with chunks of onions and a few canned carrot slices sprinkled in for a bit of color. You had to pick at each item separate because the food was dumped on your plate at different times because of how long it took each server to put food on each person’s plate one at a time. The birthday cake for dessert had the thinnest amount of unflavored icing. The best thing was the lemonade. The show was good for younger kids and worth a chuckle or two just don’t go hungry!

We booked this show when we were in Branson. We had been before to a different show there and was very disappointed. This show did not disappoint.
The meal they served was great. The portions of food are above average.
The comedy show was great as well. They allow people from the audience they have chosen to participate in the show. I would definitely recommend to anyone with kids are even without kids.... the show is great!

We didn’t know what to think going into this—the reviews were so mixed. But we thoroughly enjoyed the show and the meal. He actors were fun, ad libbing it’s the audience and quite funny, cracking themselves up. The meal was plentiful and delicious. Highly recommend this show.

I saw the murder mystery show with my two older kids (early 20s) & we ALL enjoyed it. The food was delicious and there was lots of it. It’s a cute show with some audience participation which makes it more fun. If you’re looking for a different show experience in Branson, I would highly recommend the Shepherd of the Hills WhoDunnit Hoedown!
