Overview
This unique hands-on experience is the best way to learn about the importance of honeybees! We will suit up and open up the hive to see how bees live, work, and produce honey. You will definitely leave with greater knowledge and understanding of our pollinator friends and the inner workings of a honeybee colony.

  • We will honey taste test the unique flavor profiles from local Delmarva beekeepers and EAS bee clubs. We will discuss the color, aroma, flavor, and texture. Everyone will have a different favorite!

  • BayBees Honey, LLC will provide bee suits, gloves, hive tools, and smokers. Beekeeping 101 to safely handle the bees, hive, bee yard etiquette, review beekeeping equipment and gear.

We found the Queen!! The honey tasting was amazing, right from a frame! The host is amazing and incredibly knowledgeable. I was nervous initially but I was at ease within minutes. An awesome time!!! Thank you.
