      Day out in New Orleans
Great day out from the pick up and drivers anecdotes and commentary to the fabulous gardens house and information. Plus the swamp ride .

      Best Time Ever
Rocky was our guide and he was FANTASTIC!!! From the moment we got on the airboat, to returning to the dock!Rocky did his very best to ensure his passengers saw everything in the swamp and marshes. We saw baby alligators to one about 12 feet!! And not just floating, Rocky hand fed marshmallows and chicken parts to the many sizes of gators. My husband and I are 66 and 70, and haven’t done anything that fun and interesting in years!

      Small boat swamp tour
Ian did a great job on our swamp tour. He was very informative and entertaining. I was so excited to take the tour and it didn’t disappoint. The area is beautiful, the gators were seen and all had a great time. 10/10 would recommend.

      Airboat Life
We chose the small group airboat tour with hotel pickup. Pickup was smooth and easy and the transport was led by friendly and helpful drivers. When we arrived we had time for a bathroom break, then picked up tickets and stopped into the shop for water and whatnot. Our boat driver, Ian, took us on an excellent adventure through some truly beautiful scenery. We saw multiple alligators and plenty of gorgeous scenery while learning about the local flora and fauna. The boat ride felt quite safe in Ian's hands. We had a marvelous time!

      Great fun
A great, well organised trip from pick up at hotel to the return 5 hrs later. Rocky was a brilliant guide/driver and seemed to be able to charm the gators!

Captain Ernie was great and educational. We saw Bald Eagles, some other birds and plenty of alligators. This airboat did not have alot of people which I also liked about the tour. Transportation to and from our hote was great too.

      Amazing Tour
Captain Dany our tour guide from Cajun Pride did the swamp tour. He was funny, knowledgeable and safe. He showed us Alligators, Turtles, Wild Boars, Raccoons, Squirrels, Cranes, Ducks on their natural habitat. He showed us the graveyard site of Julia Brown infamous voodoo priestess. Roby our Grayline Tour guide was equally excellent, funny and knowledgeable about the history of New Orleans. We learned so many facts about New Orleans. The tour was 7.5 hours long stopping at Oak Valley Plantation & Cajun Pride swamp tours.

Best tour in (near) New Orleans!
My mum and I had a fantastic time today on the Oak Alley Plantation and Large Airboat Swamp Tour. Keith was our driver and took great care of us. It was a comfortable and enjoyable ride. The plantation was gorgeous, and the air boat ride was a lot of fun! Captain Dewey took us out for a great ride, and I counted 13 gators up close before I stopped counting. The air boat ride has been the best New Orleans tour I’ve done, my mum and I highly recommend this experience!!

      Fun
Captain Earnie was sweet and educational. Probably my favorite part of visiting New Orleans. Swamp puppies were so cute. Just be sure to research what time of year is best to actually see them, since they aren’t out and active all year long.

      Authentic Swamp Tour
Second time on this tour - went once over a decade ago with my kids and this year on an adults-only trip. This is a great tour for both. Very laid back, friendly, and down-to-earth tour guide. Beautiful views, informational and not overcrowded. Enjoyed seeing swamp land, marsh grass, and gators. A lovely adventure with a fun group!

Large Airboat Swamp Tour is a blast!
Had a great time on the large airboat swamp tour! Our tour guide and boat operator Captain Ernie was amazing! Made sure we saw plenty of gators and had a really fun ride around the swamp. Made several stops and gave us a good education on the swamp, gators, and plenty of fun stories! Our tour was one of the highlights of our trip.

      Fun experience
It is a fun tour, especially if it is your first time. The airboat is noisy, but they give hearing protection. It might be a little windy, so you might want to bring a jacket. Definitely do not forget your glasses, it will help with the wind blowing into your face. It is very convenient since they can pick you up from all major downtown hotels.

We had an EXCEPTIONAL TIME with Captain Jason!!! He was both fun and informative and gave us such a great close-up view of the Louisianna eco-system. We considered going with the cheaper flat-bottom boat option, but we are SO GLAD we splurged for the airboat. Worth every penny!!!

We did the large fan boat gator tour it was a great time! It was a bit chilly but with coats and the ear protection they provide it wasnt bad at all. We saw at least 10 gators and stopped at a few spots and our Tour guide answered all our questions. We’ll definitely be back probably during mating season so we can see some bigger ones!

Captain Matt was probably the coolest guide I’ve ever had! Of all the vacations I’ve gone on, I really think this might have been the best vacation experience I’ve ever had. He was fun, informative, and humorous. He’s friends with the alligators and pulled one out of the water to pet it. He showed us a video of him swimming with them too! But then! He revealed his emotional support baby alligator, Ripple! He was the cutest thing and Captain Matt instructed us on how to hold and pet Ripple without upsetting him! He was the cutest thing ever! We saw so many other birds, dragonflies, and even a raccoon as well. The wind kept us cool while we got to observe animals happily living in their NATURAL HABITAT instead of a zoo or cage. There’s a real difference when viewing animals the proper way like that. I really can’t recommend this place enough! If you do one thing when visiting New Orleans then make sure it’s this!

Fun times on the bayou. Saw lots of alligators and other animals, learned a lot. My teenage daughter enjoyed it as well especially the baby alligator. Will wake you up with the noise and the speed and might want to bring a jacket due to the high winds. Some beautiful landscapes as well. Would definitely recommend it as a contrast to the huddles masses in New Orleans!

We so enjoyed our ride. We did see 7 plus gators. The captain made sure that everyone on the boat were able see and get pictures of them. It was beautiful going through all the different canals and it was cool seeing an eagle fly over so low. He also stopped in a nice shady area and explained all about the gators. Don't wear white in gators territory. Lol

I am from the area and have never been on a swamp tour. I have to say me and my 6 yr old grandson son loves it. I think what we loved the most was going fast and getting wet. If you don’t want to get wet, don’t do the airboat. Our guide was awesome but didn’t catch his name. And the lady in the gift shop made my grandsons day. Thank y’all for an awesome day all away around. See y’all again soon.

Great experience. We went on the first tour of the day to avoid the heat of the afternoon and it was perfect. Saw alligators, birds, turtles, lots of dragonflies, and nice swamp scenery. Educational and fun. Enjoyed when we went fast and turned...airboats are pretty cool.

It was an amazing experience! The boatride itself was a thrill, seeing all the different animals in their natural habitat was impressive! The swamp was beautiful and spooky at the same time with the overhanging trees and spanish beards. Seen alligators, racoons, birds, swamp cows.
    Highly reccomended!

Really great experience! The pick up was smooth, the tour was super fun in the air boat, and our guide Dewey was super knowledgeable and interesting. Definitely number one swamp tour company! You could tell Dewey had grown up in the area we had such a good time. We saw so many gators! Highly recommend!

We had a fabulous time with Captain Ernie. Ernie grew up in the area so he is a wealth of knowledge. He was fun, entertaining, educational and we loved every minute of our tour. Keep in mind the weather. If it is really cold, it will be hard to find gators. We had a warm sunny day and saw a lot of alligators. We saw an Osprey too! We saw a variety of landscapes, learned why different areas all look different from each other. We learned a lot about alligators themselves. We laughed. One of the best things we have ever decided to do. It was wonderful.
