Overview

Come on board and discover why the Hunter Region is one of the most highly awarded wine regions in Australia. Taste the crisp Verdelhos, fruity Semillons and reds this region is famous for as well as palate refreshing craft beers, creamy cheeses and locally made chocolates in this full day tour with fresh local gourmet produce for lunch.

Relax and enjoy the friendly small group atmosphere and great music aboard on our public shared tour on a 20 seat minibus (air-conditioning and sound system) as you make new friends and learn about the rich wine making history of this picturesque region.

What to Expect

Enjoy being picked up from your Hunter Valley accommodation between 8.30am and 9.45am (in Pokolbin, Lovedale, Rothbury, Nulkaba, Broke, Cessnock, or Maitland) in comfort and style as you relax with air conditioning and great music.

Discover why the Hunter Valley is one of the most highly awarded wine regions in Australia as you learn about the traditions and uniqueness of wine making in this location. You'll taste 5-8 wines at each of the 3 cellar doors we visit (approx. 45 min. tasting at each winery with 15-20 mins for optional purchasing afterwards) with informative and friendly professionals who are ready to greet you and make your tasting experience one to remember.

No visit to the Hunter is complete without savoring the creamy cheeses the Hunter is known for at The Smelly Cheese Shop and indulging in some wicked delights at the Hunter Valley Chocolate Shop.

In addition to being known for its wines the Hunter Valley also produces some amazing and refreshing craft beers. Cleanse your palate with a selection of up to 12 locally made beers with funky names such as Dogbolter black ale, Fat Yak, Redback, Ruby Tuesday and Dirty Granny Cider just to name a few.

An Italian inspired menu including pastas, salads, gourmet pizzas with generous toppings (vegetarian and gluten-free options may be available), and gourmet burgers for lunch are the perfect complement to a delicious day of wine and beer tasting.

Enjoy the views and relax on the leisurely drive back to your Hunter Valley accommodation after a day of gorgeous scenery, new friends and decadent food and wine pairings.

Great Service, family friendly

Suzanne was excellent on the communication and tailored our tour to suit our group. We had young kids and non wine drinkers and all were catered for. It was lots of fun, well organised and Suzanne knew a lot about the wineries and its history....More

Bit disappointing and misleading.

We liked the look of the tour from the website. The reviews were mostly based on Suzanne taking the tour and so we were disappointed to be put on another bus. Not only that, the website said mostly tours had groups between 13-20. We had...More

Nice Wineries

It was a nice day, was happy I got to try a few wineries I haven't been to before and the bus and guide were lovely. I would say this tour is more suited to an older, quieter crowd though. One thing I would suggest...More
