Overview

See plankton glow in the water below you as you paddle through the Banana River on this nighttime bioluminescence kayaking tour. Follow your guide through the protected wetlands of the Merrit Island Refuge to a spot with almost no light pollution, making for amazing visibility of the bioluminescence sea life.

What to Expect
  • Meeting location will be emailed upon confirmation.
  • Once the group has been checked in, your guide will go over safety instructions and basic kayaking
  • The group will then start the kayaking tour. You will get to see the waters glow through your paddle and through the touch of your hands. Depending on the overcast, you can also sometimes see the Milky Way Galaxy above along with all the other beautiful stars.
  • Kayaking time will roughly be 90 minutes, from there we will return to shore to finish the tour.
  • We ask that all guest remain at the meeting location until dismissed by the guide to be sure that all guest have returned safe.
  • Once you party is dismissed, you are good to go!
