- 522lindseyz0 contributionsSo Many Turtles! You get to see so many turtles in different stages of rehab. The volunteers gave really good information. We did take the guided tour, but it didn't really offer any more information than just walking about the place. We watched a video which allowed us to see some more behind the scenes, so that was nice. You do have to sign up for the movie at the front desk, which was unclear on their website.Written March 5, 2025
- Barbara W0 contributionsWe spent a couple of hours walking around talking with the turtle experts and viewing the turtles that are being treatedBe sure to see the presentation and movie offered in the auditorium. It is excellent in showing details of the life cycle of turtles. It also shows what these turtle researchers do.Written March 3, 2025
- misssophiatraveler0 contributionsNot a rehab facility- dissatisfiedReally disappointed. I am a local and this place seems like a tourist trap and not a rehabilitation facility. Tourist lines listening to earphones in a group is unbelievably annoying in the faculty. The entrance use to have bueatiful marine tanks, where did it go? Do your presentations in the theater. Majority of the facility is wasted space (upstairs) Is this for banquets and weddings? Again, is this really a rehabilitation facility? Too many volunteers standing around the tanks doing nothing but staring.. come on- educated people walking around, approach them, show info on the species etc. I feel bad for the animals (they seem stressed). Overall, this place has changed a lot and seems to lack their ability of rehabilitation.Written March 3, 2025
- sjjmt0 contributionsDefinitely Worth a VisitThis is an amazing organization. We did not make it in time for the official tour (which we would have happily paid for) so really appreciated that there were many volunteers available to answer questions and provide information. When we visited, they had a large number of turtles rescued during the cold snap across Florida as well as some that had been caught in the frigid weather in New England. Wonderful to see and definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.Written February 9, 2025
- April25000 contributionsInformative and funMy husband and I took their 1 hour guided group tour. We had 10 people in our group and each person had a headset so we could easily hear what our guide was saying into her microphone. Our guide was fantastic. She shared so much information about the various turtles and their current patients. We went mostly for the turtles but also enjoyed the fish tanks, shark tank, jellyfish & sea horses. They have a nice gift shop too. We really enjoyed our visit. They do so much to help the turtles.Written January 30, 2025
- an2net_100 contributionsLearned so much about sea turtles! The Early Access tour at 9am was great. Chris is very knowledgeable and made the tour enjoyable. It was rather chilly that morning, and the tour is mostly outside, so dress warmly. The cost was $25/pp, but it is for a good cause and definitely worth it.Written January 25, 2025
- saanders0190 contributionsWorth the visitSuch a fun quick visit. They had so many animals that they were fostering. It was neat to see these magnificent creatures up closeWritten January 18, 2025
- Alan N0 contributionsNice short visitIt’s well put together, lots of volunteers for questions, and donation driven without charging. Leaving is like exiting at Disney world with the gift shop.Written January 6, 2025

- GregC1220 contributionsWonderful Time & Learning ExperienceIf you're looking for a very unusual an educational experience Loggerhead Marinelife Center is the place. Over the years , they've transformed into a wonderful Aquarium, Educational & Sea Turtle Rescue. The Ocean Hall houses lion fish, sea horses and jellyfish. As well as other exhibits. The main attraction is learning about how they rescue and rehabilitate Injured sea turtles from hatchlings to larger Leather back sea turtle adults which can grow over 6 ft tall and up to 1800 lbs. As well of helping sustain a good population for the future. Only 1 in 1,000 to 1 in 10,000 hatchlings make it to adulthood. They have several aquariums which represent different areas, one with 2 nerf sharks and many wonderful aquatic animals. Somewhere around 1:30 PM they feed them and explain each of the tanks. The feed both broadcasting and target feeding which is very interesting and important. There is usually staff around and more than happy to explain what is going on and why these turtles are important no mater the time. The fee is a $10 minimum donation for a family. (Please donate more if you can) They need other donations to help continue the research and Rescue efforts. You can spend a little or a lot of time there. Loggerhead Marinelife Center is great for adults and children alike. Seeing sea turtles up close which will be returned to the ocean helps everyone. Short drive from West Palm Beach just East of 95. Open 7 days a week 10 AM - 5 PM. Check for holiday hours. Gift shop has a nice selection. 14200 US-1, Juno Beach, FL 33408Written September 27, 2024
- funtovisit10 contributionsRecommend goingThis was one of the highlights of our trip. We participated in the guided tour and watched the documentary film. The tour was great, and we learned a lot. Enjoyed the film as well. You are able to get up close for a good view of the turtles. I am so grateful for all the good work that is done at the Loggerhead Marinelife Center. Everything about this place is wonderful. Don't miss experiencing this if you are in the area. Great for kids as well.Written September 24, 2024
- Luv2Travel2160 contributionsSaving the TurtlesMy family and I absolutely loved visiting Loggerheqd. What a fantastic place!!! The volunteers and employees are all so kind and passionate about their work at the turtle hospital. I love that they are helping these special animals heal from injury and sickness. How admirable that it’s all for non-profit! I can’t wait to visit again!!!Written August 26, 2024
- jjhutira0 contributionsLoggerhead Marinelife Center, Hatchling Discovery TourAmazing early morning experience to see a loggerhead nest excavation, my trip was full of information about sea turtle nesting and hatching in Juno Beach, a densely nested area. We even got to release 2 hatchlings that were still trapped in the nest at the end.Written August 15, 2024

Wonderful program to learn about turtles, nesting, and the hatchlings. The preliminary presentation was very informative and well done by very knowledgeable staff. Getting to see the hatchlings crawl down the beach and disappear into the waves was beautiful to watch. I highly recommend this experience to everyone!

We wanted to do something fun, outdoors and nearby my house! Parking was full but we got lucky with last spot under a tree, so we knew the day was going to be great! Made it in time for the tour, which was informational, entertaining and most of all enjoyable for all ages! We had some kids in the group and Roz made sure to make an interactive experience for all.
She knew everything and anything about the marinelife and was able to answer all questions and tell us when to get a good shot of the turtles. She shared the stories about why the turtles were there and what their life has been like since being, rescued. It was touching and heartfelt to hear how this organzation got started and continues to thrive!
Ready to answer questions!
Outgoing and knowledgable about all things Marinelife
Zealous on her tour
The girls in the gift shop were helpful, friendly, and patient with our indecisive possible purchases! We loved everything about the experience and we will be back soooon! I have already told all my friends and family.

First, you sit in an auditorium and learn about turtles-for an hour. Then you head to the beach with night vision goggles. It was challenging to see anything at all with the night vision. Overall, the experience was underwhelming for the price tag. If you view it as a donation to the turtles, rather than a fun experience, you’ll be better off.
