Amazing! Well worth it!
Aug 2021 • Family
This day safari was fantastic! Our guide Mark, was so knowledgeable. The Everglades boat ride was great. We saw lots of gators. The nature walk was good (just bring bug spray!). A female gator made her way up onto our walking path but Mark has so much experience that he helped us make it safely around her. It was amazing to see that up close! We didn't see dolphins on our boat ride but most times you will. It was still a great experience and I would highly recommend it! You definitely want Mark as your guide!

Rhett was awesome
Rhett our driver tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable, entertaining and he made the trip the experience that it was!
This man knows his plants, animals and Florida Everglades. So entertaining and not dry information . We have been other tours and the guide put you to sleep. Not Rhett. He has a passion for flora fauna and animals of all kinds.
We will definitely go again and bring friends and family along.

Best day ever
Great experience. Probably the favorite thing we did. The airboat tour was the best part, the cypress swamp was cool but didn't see much, and the skiff trip was interesting also. Heidi our guide was very interesting and knowledgeable.

Amazing way to see the Everglades!
First trip to Everglades & had no idea where to go. We chose this day long excursion out of Fort Myers. Pickup at hotel was prompt. Our wonderful tour guide, Heidi, was so smart & full of tons of local knowledge. She kept us informed while on our drive down of all the different palm trees & things to view. Such a wealth of knowledge! She also listened to us & what may be of interest to us during the day. Our first stop was the airboat ride. We enjoyed that & did see some gators. Pretty birds on the store porch there. Next was nature walk. Heidi was great to point out things we surely would have missed. Then we had lunch at a cute little diner along the way. It was perfectly timed as we were hungry & tired & needed a break. Next was the boat trip to 10,000 islands. Tristan, our boat captain, was equally as awesome as Heidi. He explained the history there & his stories were so interesting. We’d really like to go back there & spend more time. The islands were beautiful & boat ride was so fun. Overall, just a great day & experience. Special shout-out to Heidi. She was wonderful!!

Good but…
Our guide, Mark, was very knowledgeable and friendly. We did get to see gators and dolphins but the part we were disappointed in was the time spent being shuttled around. It was a dreary/rainy day but besides the hour for lunch and the two, hour long boat rides, we were glued to the seats of the tour van. I guess I expected more of an active itinerary, especially since we had younger kids along but I was wrong. There also was a lot of waiting around which was a disappointment. It was a cool experience but once is more than enough.

You are justified in being disappointed and I sincerely apologize. I have responded to a similar complaint about the time in our van. Both reviews are in response to the tour that occurred on June 17th which did not include the regularly scheduled nature walk or stop at the Big Cypress Visitor Center. It should have and I have taken steps to make sure that does not happen again. Thank you for the feedback and again I apologize that we failed to live up to the high standards that should be expected.

Best tour Ever!
Great tour! Enjoyed our van driver Zak, he was very knowledgeable and kept us informed along the way. Airboat tour was fun and enjoyable, saw lots of wildlife. Lunch was excellent they had a lot of choices to pic from had fish it was delicious! Zak was good at keeping us informed about the wildlife and various information about Florida in general which made the time go by driving to each location. The boat tour through the mangroves in Gulf was also enjoyable and this driver really knew the history and places to find animals, saw manatees and dolphins.
This tour was well forth the money!,! Would definitely do it again!
