About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Y4558CXlucieb0 contributionsGreat bus rideDidn't do any activities, but still really enjoyed the way there! I appreciate tour guide's talking on the way there and also getting a map of Key West. Definitely worth it.Written March 16, 2024
- 749kristinab0 contributionsWorthwhile experienceAfter searching through many sites & trips we settled on this one. Overall very good. Pick up was on time (having been rescheduled from the previous day on our request). Comfort break at McDonald's on the way there, but not enough time to visit bathroom & order food. We came prepared with our own supplied. Guide was okay but spoke with a heavy hispanic accent which was hard to understand at times. Be prepared for a very long drive there and back! Key West was superb but much hotter than Miami. The hop on/off trolley was a great way to see all the sights. Plenty of bars & restaurants to eat in. Overall a great, but very long, day out.Written March 11, 2024
- GatorNana0 contributionsBasic transportation as advertisedThis is exactly what is advertised. It is transportation to Key West and return. We were picked up at our Surfside hotel at 6:15 a.m. and returned there at 11:00 p.m. The bus made a stop at a McDonald's where there was a CVS drugstore in the same parking lot. We got water and snacks at the CVS and used the McDonald's restroom. Our bus was a double-decker and the restroom is on the lower deck. It is a very steep and narrow staircase to the top deck. The seats are very close together, no cup holders or trays and a pull down footrest. The seats do recline a little. Our guide did a little commentary about sights along the way and identified each large key as we traveled through them. Once in Key West, the bus parked and we were told that the bus would open back up at 5:30 with the scheduled departure at 6:00. There is no stop along the return trip. There is virtually no seating at the parking area to wait, so there's no real reason to go back early. We sat on the steps of a museum across the street. I'm giving all of these details just to be helpful in planning your trip. We were just glad to not have to drive it ourselves.Written February 28, 2024
- calimarmorales0 contributionsAwesome time at Key West! The tour was a lot of fun! I read some negative reviews prior to booking and now that I've experienced the tour, I can speak on it. Pick up/drop off was timely. Luis provided great information of Key West and tour options. Bus was clean and the temperature was very comfortable. The wifi was spotty but not a big deal if you can use your cellular data. Many charging outlets on the bus were not working; this should be corrected or just ask people to bring their portable chargers if they need. Communication on what to expect during the ride was great. Traffic to the Keys was horrendous but it did not affect the trip. Manny got us there as quick as traffic allowed! And Luis kept informing us of how traffic was moving and other great information on the Keys which kept us entertained. We decided to go on our own and we enjoyed ourselves very much! We went to The Southernmost Point ( be prepared to stand in line a bit for pictures), Ernest Hemingway's house ($18 adult $7 child admission), The Little White House (Truman). Sloppy Joe's (amazing time!!!). We tried the conch fritters and they were delicious! It was explained to us that they no longer are sold in the streets due to being "regulated". The key lime pie was delicious too!! Next time we will try the trolley tour. Overall it was a very fun trip and we recommend this tour company.Written February 24, 2024
- traceymZ5912UZ0 contributionsGreat Day Trip to Key WestThis day trip was really well organised. We were picked up outside out hotel on Miami Beach at 6.30am & left Miami at 7.30am. The double decker bus was comfortable & we had great views from the upper deck. We stopped at McDonald's at 9am for breakfast for 30 minutes then on down the keys. Manny the bus driver & David our guide were very good & we gained a lot of interesting information on the way there. We arrived at 11.40am & had until 5.30pm to explore. We decided to walk rather than booking tickets for the trolley & that worked well - we had plenty of time to look around at the sights. We had lunch & also Key Lime pie at Kermit's. The bus left on time & we were back at our hotel by 9.45pm. Very helpful & friendly staff. A great way to see Key West in a day without having to drive yourself.Written February 13, 2024
- k1earlyed0 contributionsA Smooth and Efficient Choice to Travel to Key WestAfter reading lots of reviews, we decided that this was the way to get to and return from Key West in a smooth and efficient way. 12/30/23 We walked a few blocks for pickup at another hotel and there were a few more pickups after us. The bus was not the double decker because that was out for repairs. The one we took was comfortable, but not super clean - as others have commented. There was a bathroom but my husband and I chose not to use it. The bus was filled to capacity and we paid extra for front row seats. Manny, the driver, and David, the guide were both very nice and David gave us a lot of pointers before we arrived at Key West. He knew the snorkeling and glass bottom boat would be disappointing because of earlier rains - and he let us know that. We chose not to purchase tickets for the trolley because we had booked a pedicab tour ahead of time - totally recommend! When we got off the bus, David led us to the public restrooms and gave us some more ideas for activities and which direction to go. We had enough time to wonder around and have drinks, key lime pie, and dinner - all at different places. We browsed the souvenir shops and had a great afternoon. Maybe next time, we’ll spend a night there, but we were happy with what we did on our first time there. The return ride went well and we had no complaints. Our day started at 7am and ended around 9:30pm.Written February 8, 2024
- nutcracker880 contributionsAn enjoyable day tripDriver and guide were both excellent. Bus however left much to be desired. Estimated travel time on bus should be mentioned. Seat backs not reclining properly, reading lights and fans not working correctly.Written January 27, 2024
- twoplusbun0 contributionsGreat way to see the Keys!We really enjoyed our journey to Key West and back. It's definitely a long day, but we expected that and were happy to have someone else do the driving. It was great to have the option to be picked up in Hollywood Beach. We were picked up at the Margaritaville Resort, only a two-minute walk from our hotel. The smaller shuttle took us to Miami where we joined up with the larger group bus. There is a quick stop at a McDonald's for breakfast and then off to the Keys. We got about 5.5 hrs in Key West where we wandered and enjoyed the architecture and food and coastline views. The way home was similar, with a faster shuttle taking us back to Hollywood Beach once the bus reached Miami. All of the drivers were friendly, and the tour guide (forgetting his name!) was super informative and interesting. We were very happy with the entire day!Written January 16, 2024

- 421taoy0 contributionsGood ride with tour optionsText a day ahead and the pickup is on time. 2 Level bus. Can't see the sunrise and sunset on the way there and back. - L7925DVmarkusa0 contributionsGreat way to visit Key West without a hassleVery good organized. We had 6 hours available in Key West, which was enough to walk to all important points and have a dinner before going back. We did not know that we could easily split the trip and spend a night in Key West. This should be better explained, because we would have done it.Written November 13, 2023
- Donell S0 contributions25th Anniversary PresentMy wife and I took this trip to Key West as part of our 25th wedding anniversary. We had a blast touring the Hemingway House, riding the glass bottom boat, and eating at Sloppy Joe's. Our tour guide, Luis, and our bus driver, Manny, were the best! I highly recommend this tour.Written November 10, 2023
- debrapO6423CU0 contributionsLuis is Awesome!Luis was an exceptional tour guide and made our whole trip. Treated my father who has mobility issues and in a wheelchair like family. Trip to Key West would not have been the same with anyone else. Glad I chose this particular company after researching and looking at previous reviews. Book with Luis, you won't regret it! The guide and employees were great! David was wonderful. I appreciate the pick up and drop off at our specific hotel.
My 2 star is related to the terrible bus ride. The bus was old and dirty. Windows outside and INSIDE were dirty, and had fingerprints. The bathroom was the size of an airplane bathroom and had stored in it a pushbroom! Kind of in the way. Water on the floor and on part of the bus walkway. There was no consistent air flow in the cabin. It vacillated between humid, foggy, and stuffy from 50 of us breathing, to the AC being turned on full blast. There was less leg room than a coach seat on an airplane. No one could recline or their head would be on the chest of the person behind. Last, and I don’t know if it was bus or the driver, most likely the bus, but any acceleration or deceleration would jerk us back and forth in our seats. A 3.5 hour trip like this was not enjoyable. Get a modern bus!

This trip was a bit of a disappointment. We were picked up at the Embassy Suites at 530am in Ft. Lauderdale and expected to be on the bus, but were picked up by a shuttle driver that took us to the bus, and then for the next 2.5 hours, we picked up alot of other folks...finally made it on the way to Key West around 830am, and we were told we would stop for bathroom at 9am. However, there were 2 accidents that kept us locked in traffic for almost 2 hours..so no stop u til we finally got to Key West at 1230pm..that was 7 hours one way! They told us to meet the bus at 6pm. Now, Key West is a lovely, tourist town, and we are not museum goers or shoppers or tour takers or bar hoppers so we really didn't need 6 hours, but we made the best of it and rented a scooter..that was fun! VERY HOT DOWN THERE so bring water and sunscreen!!! Nice town!
Then we got on the bus at 6 and made it back to Miami around 915pm, then proceeded to drop allllll those people off and then at 1030 we met up with our shuttle driver and made it back to our car at 1115pm! It would be nice if the company told you that there are multiple stops before you get on the road to Key West...much better if you just drive yourself. Air conditioning on the bus could be a bit better too. Not gonna do that again 😔

It was a long journey for a short amount of time there, but worth it I think. We got picked up in Ft. Lauderdale at 5:30 am and didn't get to Key West till after noon. There were a lot of stops in Miami. We had a car and could have almost driven there and back in that time seeing as how we left our condo at 4:45 am. But it was nice to be able to leisurely look out the window and listen to the guide (Louis), who did a great job narrating. We had planned on doing the on/off trolley once we got there, but decided to do the glass bottom boat instead. No time for both. So glad we did as it was really hot and the boat ride was nice and cool. We had time before to walk to the southern most point and get a picture (plan to stand in line - we waited about 20 minutes). We took an Uber back to board the boat on time ($9.15). After the boat ride we had time for dinner and drinks, stopped for an ice cream, and got back on the bus. I'm glad I got to see Key West. Definitely wouldn't have driven it ourselves in one day. Just be aware that you will not be able to see and do much since there are long lines to get into see things like the Hemingway House.

Tour operator was rather short with people. Passengers were left behind. One young lady was left behind at a miami location between transfers from bus to shuttle.Time on island should be a little longer.

Hello, with the greatest respect, I want to inform you that the person who stayed at the Regency Hotel that day was because she chose to stay. Even the shuttle returned in case there had been any misunderstanding, and she said again that she had wanted to stay there.
Our stay on the island is 6 (six) hours free, but anyway, if you want to stay longer, you have the possibility to go one day and return the next day, buying two "one way", one from Miami to Key West, and another from Key West to Miami.
Thank you very much for taking the time to write a comment.

Key West was amazing and I would absolutely recommend this trip. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Pick up and drop off was easy. Just know that it's a very long day. We left around 5:30am and got back around 10pm. You drive over 7 mile bridge though, so the drive is beautiful. I would not suggest adding an excursion to the bus trip in advance. They'll give you a bunch of options on the bus and you can decide at that time.

Great Tour, David made sure everyone was informed throughout the journey. We so appreciated that they arranged for a van to take us back to Fort Lauderdale after a long day so we didn't have to stay onboard for the Miami Beach hotel drop offs. Very accommodating. We had a great time and I highly recommend.

Such a fun trip. Louis was very knowledgeable and an excellent tour guide. He had the answer for just about everything and was outstanding and genuinely helpful and friendly. The bus was much larger and more comfortable than I anticipated. I highly recommend it. But plan for the time to go quickly. Six hours goes by fast. Know exactly what you will do and where on the island to do it before you go. (Like Guys grocery challenge. )There should be an option for solo travelers to also go. That’s my only suggestion. And work to get a kayaking option. Thank you! We had a great time. Oh and do not expect to go to a beautiful beach there really aren’t any. Pretty water n a few tiny inlets are it.

Great ride down to the Florida Keys! The verbal information given along the way was interesting. There were two things we didn’t like. The AC was on freezing cold. People were wrapping up in their towels to stay warm. And there were so many pickups and dropoffs in Miami. They should consolidate those to maybe two locations. Other than those, the money was well spent!

The guide was exceptional, he thoroughly explained everything from Miami to Key West. I like when he gave us the address of where the bus will be and his phone number. If we have questions or need to know where to go, he made himself available for us and I liked 👍 that. Sorry I for get his name. Beautiful day. Everything went smoothly, weather was great and friendly people. I will recommend this day tour to Key West.

Great day! Relaxing and enjoyable time with great people. Love FLL and EYW. Make certain to spend some time on Duval Street. And, of course, stand in line to take your pic at the Southernmost Point!

Can this be for one person? If so, what would be the price? is there any availability by this week before Sunday? Thanks!

Do you offer pickup from 3901 South Ocean Drive, Hollywood, FL 33019?
Why I can’t book for just one person?! If I choose two people I have every single to choose but if I put “one” all those opportunities disappear. Extremely unfair

what hotels do you pick up at in Ft lauderdale? we are considering a little less pricey hotel than the embassy suites. we are looking at hotels a few blocks away . if you dont pickup at other hotels is there parking for the full day at the embassy suites for our truck even if we are not a guest there
Wil you pick up at:
DoubleTree Resort by Hilton 4000 South Ocean Drive, Hollywood, FL 33019
Please advise.
